Groundworks Names Michael Connolly Vice President of Learning and Talent Development
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Nov. 21, 2022 – Groundworks®, the nation’s leading foundation and water management solutions company, announced today the appointment of Michael Connolly as vice president of learning and talent development. In this role, she will lead Groundworks University and enterprise initiatives focusing on learning, career development and talent management for more than 4,000 employees.

Connolly has over 20 years of experience in talent development and employee education. Most recently, she served as chief learning officer and head of talent management at Ashley Furniture, the world’s largest furniture manufacturer, where she focused on delivering employee and customer experiences. Prior to Ashley Furniture, she served in various learning operations and strategy roles at Boeing. Throughout her tenure there, Connolly executed data-driven learning solutions focused on the entire employee lifecycle – from orientation through next-level career readiness.

Connolly earned her Bachelor of Arts in organizational leadership and Master of Science in human resources from Chapman University. She also served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.
