Groundworks Partners with Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia

This May, the team at Groundworks partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery and Delaware Counties. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, were puttying nail holes, putting together donated countertops, and painting doors and baseboards in the two duplexes currently under construction for a future Habitat for Humanity homeowner. Their efforts were featured in the Delaware County Daily Times. 

Groundworks team members were thrilled to be there helping their community. One employee David stated, “We’re happy to be a part of it. As we know, as tough as this world is, it’s nice to help out and do what we can.” 

Groundworks donated $100,000 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. Part of the Goodworks by Groundworks program, this partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year.
