We had to have our foundation raised due to a full remodel on our 50-year-old home. I could not be more pleased with the end result. They can work around anything you got going on. Our technicians were so amazing, keeping us informed and answering any questions. Explaining how mud jacking would not have been a good idea with our home. (This was an option from another estimate) Showing us problem areas and so on. Their pricing is comparable as we had gotten a few estimates, and they came in about $500 lower than the others. They left us feeling really good about the rest of this remodel and what our end result will be! As far as clean up. I did not have them clean up since we are in the start of a remodle, and thats what our demo crew is for. But they did ask several times if we wanted them to.

We had bowing walls in our basement and a family friend recommended Groundworks. Micah Waldo was our inspector, we did a wonderful job of walking us through our options and giving his expert opinion. We got our work schedule and it all went swimmingly. The foreman Emanuel Valdez and his team ( Sa Aung and Luis Vazquez) were very mindful of our pets and property. You couldn’t tell they had dug holes in the yard, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up after themselves. I couldn’t recommend all of these people or the company enough.

We cannot say enough good things about Cody Wellner from Groundworks. I have never received such kindness, good communication, and marvelous customer service from a construction company. Cody came out and explained everything to us and very patiently answered all our questions. A crew came out and did the work. They were very kind and considerate. They did a great job laying plastic and respecting the rest of the house. We did have a couple of issues with the work done. There was some damage to a window sill and they cut some carpet that they should have just rolled back. Luckily for us, it was Cody Wellner to the rescue again. He took the time and effort to come out and rebuild the landing to the stairs, fix the window sill, and relay the cut carpet to make the area useable until we get it fixed correctly. Groundworks is going to reimburse us for the carpet damage. This is an amazing company with a marvelous staff! I highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again.

First impressions experienced with sales consultant advisor, Daniel Raymond, were excellent. He was professional, thorough, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He offered suggestions and explained the process. Very pleasant experience. He explained the work and quote and scheduled the work in a timely manner. He helped with a great financing option to make it easier on the payout. The day of the project the techs arrived right on time as scheduled. Luke and Anthony went over the work to be performed and explained everything to my satisfaction. I even added some work based on solutions to a few other problems. They amended the work order and explained the price difference from the original bid. All quite reasonable. They kept me informed throughout the day on choices to be made and helpful suggestions. Luke and Anthony were consistently pleasant and professional and made sure I understood it was important to them that i be satisfied with the work. They finished in a timely manner, when they estimated they would be done. They walked the completed job with me to assure of my satisfaction. And they left the work sites perfectly clean. The following day I was contacted by a friendly lady named Summer who called from the office to make sure I was satisfied. Not only do I recommend this company-I will definitely use them again on a future project we already discussed. Our crawl space could get very wet. It would dry up at certain times of the year, but parts of it would sometimes still be damp. We regularly replaced our sump pump, to insure it would always work, but the condition of our crawlspace was always a concern. We looked for a company that could "fix" our crawlspace issues…dry out the crawlspace and replace some of the wood that had water damage over the years. The only company that looked like they could do the work necessary, was Groundworks. We were impressed with them from the very beginning. We scheduled a date for the work to begin, about three weeks, and waited for the team to arrive. The company provided great communication regarding when the crew would start. The team would call every morning to let us know when they would arrive. The first order of daily business was the crew leader telling us what work was to be done. At the end of each day, we were told what had been accomplished, what was in order for the next day, and when to expect them the next morning. Always asking if we had any questions or concerns they could address. The next morning we would receive a call telling us when to expect them. Upon their arrival, the crew leader would begin by letting us know what their plan was for the day, and asking if there were questions or concerns. Then he would join the others with the day's work. This was the process every day until the job was done. The crew was the best. They were always professional, always friendly, & always busy. Most importantly, they were very careful to keep our home clean. Everything was protected from getting dirty. The crew members were Eric, Tyler & Wyatt. Tyler was the crew leader, who was there to make sure our questions were answered and that everything was done to our complete satisfaction. I cannot say enough good about them. They worked nonstop, they were always in good spirits and they did excellent work. The cost to complete the envelopment of our crawl space along with the repair and replacement of some of the framing and posts due to water damage seemed expensive. To me it wasn't difficult to justify knowing if the crawlspace issues were not taken care they would certainly worsen to the point of failure and then the repairs would be even more costly. Also, if the crawl space was left as it was, the value of the home would be less if we were to sell. Not so now, the crawl space is immaculate. It is clean and bright. All the posts and framing look great. Where the crawl space was once a negative, it is now a positive. Showing that we as owners take pride in maintaining our property. All said, it has been a great experience. We are very satisfied with the work they have done. (house is located in Whatcom County, WA)

Groundwork Rep came out to inspect our home for a couple of areas of concerns we have had recently. A friend had foundation repair recently and gave a hearty recommendation to us for Groundworks. The Representative, Chris Stewart, gave our home a very thorough, detailed review of the foundation areas of concern and after careful exam, gave a report of Groundworks plan to stabilize our foundation. The bid was broken down into the three areas of concern, then he worked with us on the financing. Groundworks just finish my slab repair and I’m elated! From the inspector, Donald Richardson, which did a thorough job going through the procedures to repair the slab. To when the repair crew, Hunter and Jones, came out and Hunter went over what they’re we’re going to do to repair the slab. I was amazing how precise they were in lifting the stab and continually cleaning up after themselves. When they were finished, Hunter and I went through checking all the door alignments and that I’m getting good air flow through all my HVAC vents. I think for the first time since I bought the house 15 years ago all my doors are open and closing correctly now. I have worked with a lot of service companies over my 75 years and this is one of the best companies I have used for service! they was great from start to finish plus the pricing is very competitive. if you have a slab problem you need to call Groundworks! Eric and Ryan did a fine job and worked a strong, hard day to get my enormous driveway leveled and lifted to the best they can given the circumstances and conditions of my concrete. My house is nearly 60 years old and my concrete definitely was not in the best condition or ideal dimensions to make a perfect repair. It wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t want to wait until someone busted their face on my driveway to make it safe to walk on. Even with the portions of the driveway that resisted getting perfectly level, I’m happy to avoid needing to replace my concrete and now that everything has been stabilized with foam and no longer need to worry about the driveway for years to come. I may consider grinding down more high spots on my own if it’s an issue clearing snow this winter with my snow blower. If I tried to do this job myself I wouldn’t have done a great job because the shear volume of foam that was needed to do the job was enormous. Plus, any foam I could have used would have been inadequate for the job it was designed to perform and I don’t think I could have injected foam fast enough to make much of a difference. Granted, I could have searched and found something to use, but man given my tight schedule with a toddler and work, it’s nice to get to done by someone who has all the right tools and skills to ensure that nothing is overdone. I didn’t want to pay for equipment that I was needed for this specialized job. (Although I could have looked for rental equipment….) Anyways! For a two man crew tackling a 1000+ sqft driveway racing against the rain, wow what a performance! Eric and Ryan were very responsive to any questions I had during the job, which was very nice. I wish they spent more time blowing off the dust and debris off the driveway and in my garage, but it started raining shortly after they left so I guess there isn’t much that could have been done. I’d give five stars for the work Eric and Ryan did, but I’m giving four stars because Groundworks backed out of repairing the public sidewalk that we originally agreed upon due to “Liability Issues” which was the original reason I called them in the first place because in my city I am responsible for repairing/maintaining my public sidewalks. Although Jacob, the representative to helped develop the service agreement and initially inspected the concrete, pushed back to keep it in the scope of work, Groundworks didn’t want to risk damaging the road repairing my sidewalk getting the city involved. They do advertise sidewalk repair, which is why I’m bringing it up here in a review… if you’re trying to get your sidewalk repaired you may need to just get it fully replaced or get trip hazards ground down (I got my sidewalk ground down from someone else) lifting/stabilizing public sidewalks you’re responsible for maintaining may be out of the question- at least for Groundworks. I recommend Groundworks and likely will call them again for future work on other projects around the house. I just wish they would have helped me with my sidewalk because it was a scramble to find someone to help grind down the sidewalk in the timeframe I was looking at getting the work done. Thanks Jacob, Eric, and Ryan for helping with my driveway!

When I scheduled an Appt I knew who was coming out, the date and time and I received confirmation while I was talking to the receptionist. The Foundation Professional was Codi M. When he arrived he was prompt professional and very understanding. He asked us to show him in and around the house 🏠 what we felt was the "possible foundation issue" . This is very important to us Seniors. He was very pleasant and showed concern. Then he explained how their process works and what he does and he went straight to work. He used laser applications and tape and computer. He started in the house, then went outside the house, then he went under the house in the crawl space. He took pictures. Then the "verdict". He explained all his findings and told us what the cost would be if we decide to go with them. No pressure just straight forward. We were very pleased with the honesty and the professionalism of Codi M. With that being said, Of course we chose this company they absolutely made our home a priority and we highly recommend them if you are considering foundation solutions that work.
