They explained the process as they did the work and carefully caulked the remaining gap between the concrete porch and brick on the house. Thoroughly cleaned up and cautioned that the caulk would need 24 hours to cure.

Big project in our basement, and it couldn’t have gone better! Luis, Ramon, and Rodrigo are experts at what they do and are true professionals! Installing 2 sump pumps, a water barrier, cutting a trench in the concrete for a French drain, and burying the exit pipe outside to make it as indiscreet as possible in the front of our historic home. Their communication throughout the entire project was excellent- they filled us in on and showed us what they were doing every step of the way. They treated our home like it was their own, taking extra time to make sure the work looks excellent, cleaning up after themselves, and even going the extra mile to blow all of the leaves off of the sidewalk in front of our house to not track them in! We couldn’t recommend Luis and his crew enough!

This team is fantastic! Mark first came to my home, assessed my needs and proposed a solution. During the preparation stage, Mark and other members of the team stayed in touch. On remediation day 1, Silvino contacted me regarding his arrival time. The excellent communication continued over the 2 days they were in my home. His team was polite, professional and extremely clean. They minimized the intrusion in my life, which isn't easy when you have jackhammers in your basement. We had Ground Works come out to our home to raise some slabs in our driveway and back patio. Manuel Belio and Jose Ortiz arrived as scheduled, looked over the job and went to work. I was a little concerned because they had to straighten out 3 slabs in the driveway that were raised 3 years ago by another company but settled more than 1 1/2 inches. Manuel said there wouldn't be any problem , they run into that all the time. I am 80 years old and have problems with trip hazards, when they were finished the job was like walking on a single slab of concrete. If you use Ground works for your concrete leveling you should see if you can request Manuel and Jose for your job.

Supervisor LUIS, and coworkers Ramon and Kevaughn, were on time, professional, got right to work prepared the property so there was no dust or dirt with plastic coverings on all my important items, throughout their process. Luis explained the entire process to me, had me fill out a form should I have any additional questions or concerns, then systematically went about taking care of my water vapor problem. They put in a new sump pump, covered the wall to protect my closet should additional water vapor get through, it will go down into the drain that they put into the floor of my closet. All were very attentive to all the details. At the end, Luis walked me through exactly what they had done, explained everything to me so I understood it clearly, with their final walk through form, also made it clear should I have any issues or problems to call Groundworks and they would help me out. Their cleanup was exemplary, as they took down the plastic and the tarps with virtually no dust or debris anywhere in my basement. For the job that needed to be done, I was impressed with the hard work and attention to detail, and I would recommend Groundworks should there be any water problems in someone’s home.
