My foundation was separating in my garage. I called Innovative Basement Authority out of Rush City, Minnesota. The salesman, Logan was very knowledgeable and did a great job communicating. The work was scheduled and the crew came right on time. The crew was very friendly and professional. They worked hard and completed the work in good time, leaving everything in great shape. The final bill was even less than the estimate! I had a very good experience with this company from start to finish and would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a basement or foundation repair.

The crew that came to remove and replace the existing drain tile (Gahven, Maverick, Carl, Steve, and Parker) and install new tile and a sump in our laundry room did an outstanding job. Gahven guided me through the demo process, responding to texts even after dinner time. He was incredibly helpful, confirming that I had completed everything correctly through a text and picture conversation at 10 p.m. the night before they arrived. Our experience with IBA was fantastic from beginning to end. We discovered some pretty bad foundation damage in our garage and IBA had someone out the next day. Michael Kurr was our estimator – he was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain what was happening and what could be done. When the team showed up 6 weeks later, they couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Nick Swanson and Devon Alexander were our main team, and they always stopped to take the time and explain everything to us in a patient manner, despite fighting constant flooding in our dig. I was very impressed with how they were able to execute the plan exactly as stated, despite multiple setbacks from Mother Nature. Very impressed with these guys. I really hope I never need them again, but if I do, I know exactly who to call 🙂

After I consulted with another popular foundation repair company in town, I wanted to get another opinion. I then had Jan from Innovative Basement Authority came over. He looked around the house outside and inside for issues. He used a laser to measure my house for sedimentation. He observed to cracks and listened to my concerns. He took his time and spent an hour checking. When he was finished he gave me the best news! He cannot offer me a solution since he doesn't think my problem is the settling. He said just basically to fix the minor cosmetic issues that comes with the age of the house and observe. Thank you for your honesty and expertise. The world needs more people like you! I am so glad I don't need to tear up my house unnecessary!
