My Service Tech Matthew K did an awesome job identifying the problem (water seepage) and finding a way to address it without breaking the bank (a sump pump system). The foreman Grace H and her team were able to come out just a week or two after I scheduled the work, and they were fantastic to work with — on time, professional, friendly, and very patient even though I had a lot of questions. I would definitely recommend Tar Heel — I feel like this is one of the best investments I've made in my home.

Pricing was waaaay better than I thought it would be. Mitch W came to check out what I needed and provided an estimate on the spot. He was able to work with me to adjust a few things to my liking. Eric O, Westley P, Colby S fully explained things along the way and were able to answer all questions I asked. After I consulted with another popular foundation repair company in town, I wanted to get another opinion. I then had Jan from Innovative Basement Authority came over. He looked around the house outside and inside for issues. He used a laser to measure my house for sedimentation. He observed to cracks and listened to my concerns. He took his time and spent an hour checking. When he was finished he gave me the best news! He cannot offer me a solution since he doesn’t think my problem is the settling. He said just basically to fix the minor cosmetic issues that comes with the age of the house and observe. Thank you for your honesty and expertise. The world needs more people like you! I am so glad I don’t need to tear up my house unnecessary!

Dan Williams, Project Manager Extraordinaire for Foundation Recovery Systems, earns my vote of approval as THE BEST. He was patient, thoughtful, considerate, well-versed about his product, knowledgeable in his field, personable and most of all sincere and honest. No pressure to buy tactics were used. He was insistent that I understood the entire process as we moved along. I’m almost 82, a former teacher for 40 plus years, and well aware that I no longer think as quickly as I used to nor do I process the information being presented first time thru. That’s frustrating to me and has to be challenging to a salesman to work with someone like me. Not once did Dan make me feel like I was “slow.” He did have to return to my house a 2nd time as I decided to add “downspout burials” to the original contract plus change the initial payment plan. This added probably added at least 6 hours to his day, yet he made no reference to the inconvenience and remained calm, cool, and confidant. I, on the other hand was close to becoming unglued. 🤪There is no doubt in my mind that this guy loves his job and believes in his company. Dan Williams needs to be recognized. He IS a winner.

I GOOGLED and found A1. Took a chance and called. I managed to get squeezed in same day! The young man came in to fix the problem just before the guests came in from work! I never had to alert my guests about the issue and didn’t have to lose in my reviews! A COMPLETE WIN! A1 lives up to the hype!! My technician was AMAZING! He shared pieces of jerky for my fur babies! He was professional, unbiased, and clean. He was in and out! My boys needs a raise or promotion to lead technician or something!
