Earlier today the last third of our house had its foundation supported by Mr. Diego A, Cristian F, and Josiah W. Diego fully explained the process before the work started, and I was left with no doubts of what to expect. The work was completed by early evening. The work areas were left clean and undisturbed. Job well done. But beyond all that, these young gentlemen displayed a fun, positive attitude. This team was great to have around, and I know they’ll be continually successful on their jobs. The feeling of being put at ease before and after the work is done is rare, and very appreciated. Very appreciate of the work done to solve water issues in my basement. Antoine Gant, Gerald Peoples, and Troy Griffin did a phenomenal job installing a drainage system and pump. Along with the installation work, they also helped clear all the sandbags away from the work area. I’m thankful for their willingness to go above and beyond the scope of the job. It was a huge help. They were tidy, patient, and open to answering any questions I had. After they were done they gave me very specific instructions on how to manage the work area. No complaints at all about the work these gentleman did in my home! Blessings.

JES Foundation Repair had the lowest pricing and the fastest response time–and I consulted with several other waterproofing companies that said there's no way any company would do the job at that price! I hired JES Foundation to waterproof the exterior of my home and install a crawlspace dehumidifier. The crew of Henry A. Portillo, Jose Rubio, and Jose R. Garcia did a great job of digging down to my footers, putting membrane and drain tile, and then backfilling the exterior. We had some miscommunication about the scope of the work, but Rudy made sure to send another crew and get the work done exactly as I expected it. And then Rudy sent both a mason and a handyman to fix any damage that was done by the Bobcat. I'd highly recommend JES Foundation Repair.

Groundworks said they could get it back to a safe level and make it look good once complete. They did just that and I am very happy with the work completed. We also had a tree root that pushed the front walkway up causing a major tripping hazard and they leveled that portion out for us also. Great job and thank you to Collier and Mark P for their professionalism, excellent communication, and clean up making the job site look better than it was when they arrived. I included the before and after pictures. I highly recommend Groundworks San Antonio.

Travis initially came out for our yearly inspection related to previous floor stabilization and noticed signs of moisture and potential concerns for mold. He was incredibly thorough, professional, and knowledgeable, taking the time to educate us on the issue and walk us through our options. He even returned in the evening to review everything with my husband, which we truly appreciated. Once we decided to move forward, AFS acted quickly, scheduling installation within just a few days. The entire process was seamless and well-communicated—we always knew when the team would arrive, what had been completed each day, and when they were leaving. The installation crew was top-notch—Riley, Nathon, Alex, Brent, and Conner were all professional, thorough, and respectful throughout the process. Bryant kept us well informed of arrival and departure times, gave us frequent updates on their progress with lots of pictures. The crew jumped right in and started working immediately upon arrival. Bryant kept us informed of issues they ran into and how they could be fixed. The crew were always cheerful and polite. Our 100 year old house sustained significant foundation damage from Hurricane Helene in August 2024. Half of the supporting piers in our crawlspace were washed away by storm surge. Half of the house was suspended in the air without support. I contacted 3 different foundation companies for quotes. By far, Alpha Foundations is the best. An appointment was scheduled immediately with Johnnie the site estimator. He showed on time and communicated during his trip where he was and when he would arrive. He spent about 3 hours at our home during the evaluation. He was the only one of the 3 companies we contacted, who climbed under the house. He spent 90 minutes in a dark, damp and narrow crawl space. He did a thorough evaluation. He discussed with me and my wife his findings and recommendations. Prior to leaving he left a detailed quote and estimated timing to complete the project. We selected Alpha Foundations to repair our home. A repair date was scheduled and the office communicated with us multiple times prior to the repair date. On the repair date, Luke, Ryan and Jordan arrived as scheduled. They were courteous, friendly and very professional. Luke was the job foreman and reviewed the repair plans in detail. He was available for questions throughout the process. The crew was here for 3 days and did a fantastic job. Our home had a 4" drop in the family room, which was corrected. The sloping floors throughout the house were gone. Fantastic job done by these young men. Alpha Foundations is a 5-star company and will provide on-time, professional and excellent service. I highly recommend their company…….and I hope to never need this time of repair again.

My experience with Groundworks has been not only good, but one where you feel the good camaraderie reflected by the work crew. They: Jose Navarro, Albert Sauceda and Xandes Rhodes did some awesome work despite the rain and cold spell. Excellent work and results, left the work area better than it was before. 4-Star Review for Groundworks Abdul, Tymen, and Makafar (Magtar) provided excellent service from start to finish and deserve a FIVE-STAR rating for their workmanship and professionalism. Abdul called ahead with a 30-minute arrival window, which I greatly appreciated. When the team arrived, they clearly explained the work outlined in the contract. They were professional, courteous, and respectful of my property, and they kept the work area clean and organized throughout the project. They checked in with me regularly and invited me to review the work as it progressed, ensuring I was satisfied every step of the way. Abdul was especially accommodating during the concrete grinding, as my goal was to eliminate tripping hazards around my property. He took the time to ensure the work met my expectations. Their attention to detail, commitment to quality, and customer service were outstanding. Abdul, Tymen, and Makafar truly deserve recognition for the excellent job they did. My only disappointment was with the estimate. Rene, the salesperson who completed the original estimate, discussed caulking during our consultation, so I was surprised to learn on the day of the work that it had not been included in the contract. The additional cost was less than $700, but it should have been identified and included in the original estimate. Leaving the sidewalk with large gaps after grinding was not an acceptable finished product. I contacted the Edmonton office to clarify the issue and was advised that the caulking would need to be scheduled as a separate appointment. While the office was helpful in addressing my concerns, this inconvenience could have been avoided with a more thorough and accurate estimate from the beginning. Overall, I give Groundworks a four-star rating because of the estimating oversight and the lack of clarity regarding the caulking. However, I give Abdul, Tymen, and Makafar a well-deserved FIVE-STAR rating for delivering exceptional workmanship, professionalism, and customer service. They represented Groundworks extremely well. I encourage Groundworks to improve its estimating process and communication so that future customers can enjoy the same outstanding workmanship without experiencing the confusion and inconvenience that I encountered.

He was SUPER knowledgeable and you can tell he’s been doing this for a long time. Even when we were talking numbers, I never felt like he was rushing me. He went over all my options in detail and I really felt confident knowing the next steps. I’d totally recommend him to anyone needing an inspection!!!

Kyle did the initial inspection, very thorough, took his time, and was very accurate with each suggested need-to-do when I got a second opinion. Did everything wanted/expected and more. The last inspection I had was by Steven Fortae he was extremely knowledgeable was able to answer all my questions and explain the why behind the answers. He took his time laser measured everything and explained what to look for outside and I side the house. He even showed me the area of my house were it was engineered wrong (built in 1966). Fortunately for me I already fixed that and he explained what I did right and why and how it should have been designed originally.

We are impressed the way they work together as team to removed all the debris out of the crawl space and get it prepare for installing the sub pump, black tubing and dehumidifier. The work they did as follow: Installed 2 inches insulation all around the foundation, dig trench around the perimeter for drainage and lay the black tubing and gravel on top , dig 2 holes 2ft deep for the sub pump, lay down white plastic bearers on top of the dirt , installed dehumidifier unit ,vent and crawl space new . Highly recommended Roberto, Eduardo, Suave, Denison to do your crawl space and there are “EXCELLENT TEAM “. Daniel, the electrical. Where they couldn’t fix slants they took the time to grind and smooth put the decking so everything would look great. All the concerning cracks were filled and look sharp. The deck work was something we were dreading, but the fair cost and work done has made us feel better about the investment. We are confident now we made the right choice.
