I met JC at the Oklahoma Home & Outdoor Living Show and he was super friendly, knowledgeable and happy to schedule a time to come out and do a free inspection on some work we are going to get done. He followed through on that, coordinating a good date and time for myself and then showed up on time. He was thorough and clear on the work that needed done and what that process would look like, providing videos and case studies, backing that up. He also broke down the cost, showing me payment options. He did all of this in a very non-pressure sales process, primarily just informing me on what is needed and why it needs done. Will definitely be using JC and Groundworks for my foundation needs!

Shout at to the entire crew at AFS. From my inspector, Eric Knowlton, through the Production Manager, James Such, to my hands own crew lead by foreman Nikoli Elrod and his stud group of co-foreman and installers including: Christian Parrish, Edgar Perez and Clayton Cox. I just can't say enough good things about this project and the team that installed it. Our home had experienced differential settlement along the left rear corner, needed extensive stabilization of its floor framing, and had tons of both water and vapor reaping havoc in my crawlspace. The AFS team landed like the marines and just took care of business. They called every day before heading out, as well as activating an app that let me track their progress like a pizza delivery — just not used to that with home construction projects. They showed up on time and worked late and completed our projects ahead of schedule And most importantly, they did all of this while remaining amazingly kind and respectful. These are the sort of folks you want to work around your home. Thanks again to Nikoli and crew for a phenomenal job at our home! PS: Below is a picture of them taking the time to help me lift my pool table. Completely beyond the scope of their contracted work, but illustrative of their can do attitude:)

I can’t say enough good things about the Groundworks crew that installed and waterproofed my basement here in Southern California. Luis Toy and his team—Andrew and Joey—were outstanding from start to finish. Luis led the project with an extremely high level of professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail. This was not a simple job, and he took the time to thoroughly explain the process, navigate the complexities of the project, and make sure everything was done the right way—not the easy way. His communication was clear, transparent, and consistent throughout, which made a potentially stressful project feel completely manageable. Andrew and Joey were equally professional, hardworking, and respectful of my home. The entire crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and treated the job as if it were their own house. Luis truly went above and beyond to ensure the project was completed properly and to the highest standard. Ian, Justin, and Clemente installed new supports in our crawl space to fix our sagging floor. They were on time, professional, and personable, and most importantly they worked fast and clean. They fixed our floors without any damage or mess. You would never have known they were here other than the once visible gaps and cracks at our baseboard or doorways are now gone or greatly reduced. This is a company I would recommend, and a team I would request by name.

I needed push piers to stabilize my home's foundation, and after getting several quotes, I chose Groundworks. Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits–for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent–very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great–he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.
