Tory was my technician before and I requested him to come back out to look at another project I was doing and wanted him to see if I was having settling issues. It ended up being normal settling but he did recommend doing preventative stabilization. Tory & Christopher did an excellent job and did find some voids in the slab so I'm glad I had them do the preventative. They were very knowledgeable, professional and they clean up after they were completed. I would highly recommend having these two guys evaluate any concrete / Foundation settling issues you may have. This is the second time I have used Alpha and had the same technicians do the exact same quality work from the first time.

We recently had piers installed in our crawlspace by the Ground Works team. Ben Pebeck was very helpful, knowledgeable, and transparent in his initial assessment of our needs as well as upon the walkthrough after completion. The installation crew of Caleb Lacey and Oscar were extremely professional and courteous while in and around our home as they performed the scope of work. Communication was outstanding throughout the process and Caleb and Oscar even went above and beyond to locate an access under our kitchen that my wife and I had been trying to locate the past several months. They found the access and took video to show me so that I can access it on a different project we’re working on! I live in the Bay Area. You are crazy if you do not call this company. Very professional. They answered immediately (no frustrating phone trees) and set up a free consultation. The technician, Mike, called the day before, then thirty minutes before to say he was on his way, and arrived on time. We walked around my house to discuss the foundation. He then took pictures, did a detailed layout, and then measured every room. He also went into the crawlspace and did the same thing. He even told me that a HVAC duct had fallen and he offered to duct tape it back up. Who does that??? We then spent time going over each of the many photos while he explained his process, and gave me the good news that my foundation was fine. He spent over 90 minutes here, gave some suggestions, and was extremely helpful. 5 stars all around. Great guy and great company. Just think if they spent this much tiime and detail at no cost, I know they would spend the time needed to do any repaiir thoroughlly as welll.

Mark Odell from Groundworks came out to my house this morning to inspect some garage floor and driveway cracks. He was very knowledgeable, explained his process, performed his analysis quickly and precisely and delivered his results verbally to me. Though I felt he could have recommended more work to do as a result of his review, he only recommended what he thought made sense if it was his house. I liked that approach, and I felt he dealt with me very honestly and clearly. Since retiring from banking after 43 years, with many contractor experiences, Mark’s approach and handling of our situation was top-notch! I would not hesitate to call him again.

Now we can rest assured that mold or flooding will not ruin our investment. Nikoli E., Josh S., Caleb B., and Christian P. we’re all extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. With very few crawlspace rehab professionals out there, we were pleased we chose JES. In late May 2024 we sat down with their sales person Corbin. There was no pressure selling, and our original need was pricey enough that we were glad sales didn't try to upsell us on unneeded waterproofing. Our 1950s stick and nail built rambler had floors heaving and door jams and interior non loadbearing walls sagging. We needed and Corbin agreed to having the old insulation removed, cleaning (w/ safer mold spray we had before encapsulation), encapsulation, dehumidification, 10 new footers dug, 10 proprietary ss lally jack supports for steel joist supporting I beams, new insulation, retro-fitted duct work, and access door installed. We didn't get the mold spray done. The sealed access door was left off the contract, but JES provided that for no added charge. At times communication was difficult with the staff and main office contacts, but the team really made up the difference in the work efforts. Shout out to Daniel Yacila., Alexander Falcon, and Pedro Llontop for all your hard work!! They completed the job a day early in extreme heat and were courteous and professional throughout. All this work does not initially give a cosmetic payoff, but immediately we saw the subtle hints of support correction throughout the original 1950s flooring. Now we can realistically redo the floors on a newly secured joist support. Manny Chavez and Rudy from the management side were responsive and helpful.

There are so many companies online and you never know what to really expect. I was surprised this company services my area. I had a leaking shower faucet that was repaired with new fixtures and an access panel was installed. Chris D did a great job and was very professional. He took pictures during the initial visit and discussed the process of what would need to be done. During the day of the repair, he showed me the old values that were removed and also demonstrated how to use the new shower values. I like the fact that this company provides customers with text alerts and phone calls prior to arriving so you know exactly who is coming to your home. I think the representatives at the main office were also helpful by providing me with a breakdown of all the charges for the job.
