Groundworks Sponsors Nebraska Humane Society

Groundworks proudly sponsored the Nebraska Humane Society’s 35th annual Margre Durham Walk & Dog Fest on September 29, 2024. The pet-friendly event featured a Vendor Village, Silent Auction, Adoption Parade, Rescue Groups, and more. This event raised funds to provide shelter, food, healthcare, and healing to homeless animals on their journey to finding forever homes.

The Nebraska Humane Society enriches the community by providing essential animal care and adoption services, funded through donations and sponsorships. Since the first Walk for Animals in 1989, they’ve helped thousands of animals in need within the local area. The Society also supports pet owners in improving the lives of pets already in loving homes.
