Event Recap: Celebrating Community and Agriculture

On May 4, 2024, Groundworks’ Pittsburgh team, formerly Baker’s Waterproofing, proudly sponsored the Running of the Wools in downtown Washington, PA. This unique and lively event celebrated the region’s rich agricultural heritage and honored the essential role farmers play in the community.

Attendees enjoyed agricultural exhibits, educational displays, a children’s zone, artisan craft stalls, and local business activities, including a breakfast tour and culinary competition. The highlight of the day was the much-anticipated sheep race down Main Street, bringing energy and excitement to the heart of the city.
