Foundation Systems of Michigan Teams Up with Local Non-Profit

Foundation Systems of Michigan partnered with Operation Warm, a non-profit organization that manufactures quality coats and shoes for children in need, to donate 200 new pairs of shoes to Starfish Family Services in Inkster, Mich. The donation is a result of a team builder event that took place at Groundworks’ annual Kickoff conference earlier this year where employees competed against each other for the chance to volunteer in their local communities.

Foundation Systems of Michigan chose Starfish Family Services because of their commitment to improving the lives of children in the Detroit area. Starfish Family Services provides education and healthcare opportunities for families in need.

This partnership comes as part of the ‘Goodworks by Groundworks’ program which encourages employees to support their local communities through non-profit partnership and volunteerism.
