Groundworks Supports Make-A-Wish Through Annual Poker Tournament
Event Recap: Raising the Stakes for Wishes
On July 18, 2026, Groundworks’ Sacramento branch participated in the Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California Annual Poker Tournament at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Sacramento. The event brought together local businesses, community leaders, and supporters for a day of Texas Hold’em, networking, food, raffles, and fundraising, all dedicated to helping grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses.
Our team proudly served as the Royal Flush Lucky Card Draw Sponsor for the event. It helped drive the day’s success by connecting with fellow supporters and attendees, with active participation from eight of our team members alongside one spectator.
How to Get Involved
The Annual Poker Tournament raises vital funds to help Make-A-Wish grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses across Northeastern and Central California. By sponsoring and participating in the event, our local team supported an organization that brings hope, strength, and joy to local children and their families while strengthening relationships within the Sacramento community.
