I could smell mold under my sink. Countless plumbers told me it was just a faulty garbage disposal, but I wasn't buying it. After having mold remediation specialists remove my cabinets, mold was discovered with no apparent water source. It was determined that my crawlspace was the culprit. My neighbor who is a GC, recommended Alpha Foundations. Batuhan came over to give me a quote. As a single mother of four, it was a bit overwhelming to be faced with such a huge and overwhelming problem, but he was very patient with me and painstakingly went over the pros and cons of encapsulating my crawlspace and adding dehumidifiers and pumps. He also explained to me other much less costly options such as DIY vents and fans, but educated me on how this may cost more in the long run. He was knowledgable and courteous throughout. He was very kind and trustworthy. He kept me informed throughout the entire process. I was always notified when the crew would be arriving. Dylan, the main crew worker was professional and courteous and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Alpha Foundations and working with Batuhan if you can. I no longer have any smell and I can tell that the humidity has been significantly controlled. Batuhan even helped me pick out humidity monitors to keep in my crawlspace and check via my phone for peace of mind.

I am completely impressed with Alpha Foundations, and especially with Wes, David, and Chance. The foundation on my 1927 old Miami home has now been reinforced – no more wobbly dressers and book cases. They were reliable and focused, finishing the job in two days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs foundation and crawl space work done.

Justin Yearwood was our representative, and we appreciated that he contacted us well before arriving. He was punctual, professional, and courteous throughout the visit. He took the time to explain every detail of what was needed to resolve the issues at our 8-unit townhouse, including a clear breakdown of the fees we should expect moving forward. We truly appreciated the thorough explanation and the time he dedicated to ensuring we fully understood the process. Highly recommend!

Alpha was very professional from the start. It was easy to make an appointment by phone. Gavin texted me to assure he’d be here at the appointed time, and he rang my doorbell at exactly 1:00! Impressive. Gavin was congenial, thorough, and gave me so much information. He walked me through every part inside and out and provided an estimate before leaving. I haven’t signed up, as the estimate was staggering…but I really like everything I’ve been provided thus far. Thank you, Gavin Gordon!

Using Alpha Foundations was a great experience starting with Ronnie who came out and gave us the quote and scope of work needed, to Cooper W and James D who raised our pool patio foundation. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly to our family and dog! 🐶. The cleanup was flawless and you can’t tell they were even here! We are going to paint the patio anyway so the small minor holes and repaired cracks will disappear in the new paint job! I highly recommend Alpha for any foundation work you might need!!

The concrete sidewalk leading to the rear church entrance at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Plantation, FL had settled and became a trip hazard. It took Alpha Foundation about 2 plus hours to raise it back to level and it looks great. Thank you for your great service. Brad Facility Manager

Excellent experience with Alpha Foundations. Hired them to level a cracked driveway slab and address additional crack and other areas of potential future trouble. It was more than a repair and included injections to level one slab, and fill and reinforce areas below to prevent recurrence. Initial visit was thorough and got great explanation of scope of work and process. The day of the actual work — George and James — they were super professional, thorough and did an amazing job! Very pleased with the experience. It was not inexpensive but a great value that saved us from pouring new slabs. Highly recommend.

I had Alpha Foundations come out to inspect my townhouse because of a persistent musty smell. Mantas and Chris were fantastic. Even though the issue turned out not to be something Alpha Foundations handles, they took the time to inspect the entire house and try to help identify the source of the odor. They were professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, honest. Rather than trying to sell me something I didn't need, they explained why the issue wasn't related to my foundation and gave me valuable advice on how to continue troubleshooting the problem. It's refreshing to work with people who genuinely want to help. I highly recommend Alpha Foundations, and especially Mantas and Chris, for their excellent customer service and integrity.
Foundation Experts in Miami
Miami homeowners understand the strain the city’s tropical climate and porous limestone soils can place on their home’s foundation and basement. When issues surface, it’s vital to consult the experts at Alpha Foundation for a complimentary inspection.
With hot, humid summers, mild winters, and a hurricane season that brings intense rain and wind, Miami’s weather conditions can stress your home. Insufficient waterproofing and support can leave your basement or crawl space prone to moisture infiltration and structural damage.
Signs of foundation and moisture control issues include damp basement walls and wet carpets. A lingering musty smell from your home’s lower structure also points to moisture-related problems. These issues, combined with the area’s soil type, can pose significant challenges to your home. In Miami, porous limestone soils can lead to sinkholes and unstable ground during heavy rainfall or storm surge. This shifting can result in cracks in your home’s foundation, concrete slab driveway, and sidewalks. You may also notice bowing in your walls or cracks and gaps.
To defend your home against these issues, trust the experts at Alpha Foundation to provide the necessary solutions and support.
