On 5/14/26 Carter S. leveled our driveway approach for both stalls. He did a wonderful job and it exceeded our expectations. We were so impressed with him and the work he did! On 5/14/25 Forman DeShawn, Co-Forman Reggie, and Austin K. installed the footings drainage with sump pump system. We were very impressed with how well they protect our belongings and how hard they worked the entire time there were here. DeShawn explained everything they were doing, and made sure the system was working before they left.

Would recommend- Worked out options to fit our needs and budget and we appreciated the patience with all our questions. The install was relatively painless (we opted to do the prep work to remove stud walls) and the workers were thoughtful and respectful. They were efficient, quick, and the project looks fantastic. Dan the "Foreman", Riley, and Reginald were a great crew working together to get my crawl space floor system stabilized to allow me to complete the remodeling of our lake home. They were on time and completed the job a day early. Dan and I work through some of the unforseen structural issues ane saved $2000.00 by eliminating one beam. The only issue was that Tom the salesman said they can level the floors but Dan right away said FSM only stabilize floors and never try to raise floors to get them level. We solved the issue by my purchase of a 20 ton bottle jack used to raise the main beam where it had broken. The home is a 125 year old lake cottage built back when main beams were put on rocks to support the structure. Overall the pricing for the project was better than Ayres Basement Co. FSM has 18 month no interest financing that helped our decision to pick FSM.

Over two years ago i had another individual come out, check my foundation and preceded to tell me that my house was going to collapse if my 1/2 drop working towards the main drain, went any further. Saying the only reason the collapse had not occurred yet, was due to the solid poured concrete walls. No solution other than at this point the house will stay standing. With that knowledge my house was on the verge of falling in on itself I finally decided to call sometime later to see if the inevitable was here. Thank goodness I got Mark Dunbar! Wish I would have asked the first time he was out instead of waiting longer. Come to find out all the worry over the past two years was unnecessary! He took the time to explain in detail why the house was good and what to look for in the event something does need to be addressed. You can see Marks passion for delivering correct information while keeping customers interest first and foremost! I’ll definitely be calling him when we need to purchase our quality made whole house dehumidifier!! Thanks again Mark for the phenomenal customer service!!

Foundation Expertise in Grand Rapids
Like most Michigan cities, homeowners in Grand Rapids don’t have to drive too far to find a view of a beautiful Great Lake. But this means the water table in the city is high. Located in the west-central part of the lower peninsula, the Grand Rapids area has many smaller lakes and 5 major rivers running through it.
Grand Rapids, and the surrounding areas of Muskegon, Rockford, and Holland, deal with water in their basements and crawl spaces often because the zone of saturation is so incredibly close to the surface. Water vapor easily passes through common building materials, such as concrete and wood, causing high humidity in your basement or crawl space, and even flooding.
Bowing walls and sinking and sagging foundations are the result of prolonged humidity and water intrusion problems. Grand Rapids’ clay soil mix doesn’t help.
