I am writing to call out the excellent job done on our basement in Staunton by the crew of David Coffer, Bryan Conklin and Taquan McCoy. It was a daunting project because of a flooded basement and everything completely iced over. They had to chop a 40 foot path through 6 inch ice to even reach the basement and then they had to drain 3 inches of water before they could start. There was not one word of complaint about any of this and it was truly pleasant just to be around them while they were working. They did a thoroughly professional job and seemed to enjoy doing it. Thanks, guys.

Home Repair Specialists in Richmond-Petersburg
Central Virginians including those from Richmond, Petersburg, Midlothian, and neighboring towns withstand hot, muggy summers every year. While you take shelter in your home from this weather, your home may need protection as well. High levels of humidity on an unprotected basement or crawl space can cause mildew and mold, as well as rot the joists your home rests on.
The sandy properties of the soil in and around Richmond puts homes at a high risk of erosion over time. Erosion can cause your home to suffer from severe settling. While some settling is normal, it’s wise to have an expert take a look to ensure there are no severe issues beneath the surface. When paired with heavy rain or flooding, erosion can cause water to pool around your home and leak into your crawl space or basement. This can be another cause for mold in your home, and can produce condensation, wet basement walls, and efflorescence.
Firmly standing on years of experience in foundation and crawl space repair, concrete lifting, and basement waterproofing, professionals at JES can accurately diagnose your Richmond home’s problem areas. We are proud to then give you permanent solutions tailored to your unique home, so you can continue enjoying it.
