Devin arrived on time (1200 noon) just like he said would. I was pleasantly surprised that the inspection included inside and around the outside of the home, as well as the crawl space. I'm glad that no major issues were found . I was impressed with his level of professionalism, as he went as far as to literally record his findings into a slide presentation. He even went as far as to seal around the door to the crawl space in an effort to ensure the possibility of water no longer pooling by the door. I'm very pleased that the encapsulation done by Tarheel Basement Systems is still holding firm. Devin showed me what Tarheel Basement Systems can do for me regarding insulation. Though I'm not ready to make this move now, Devin has given something me to think about.

We were told about moisture under our home so we decided to schedule a foundation inspection and our inspector was Chris Murray was incredible! Called to confirm the day before, and the morning of communicated his ETA. He came in and was extremely nice and professional. He explained everything he found afterwards and was honest about our solutions and cost. We have an extremely small crawl space so he was unable to book us for something within his company but he continued to look into other options for us. We had three projects completed recently in our basement. Chris was our first contact who assessed the needs and he provided full information and recommendations for the work required. Andrew and his crew came in first to install a sump and a radon mitigation system. Michael then came in to repair a crack in the foundation. All technicians were friendly, well prepared, experienced and professional. They all thoroughly explained everything they would be doing and answered any questions we had. The jobs were all completed quickly and with attention to details such as leaving the work areas in very clean condition. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Groundworks.

He looked around the house outside and inside for issues. He used a laser to measure my house for sedimentation. He observed to cracks and listened to my concerns. He took his time and spent an hour checking. When he was finished he gave me the best news! He cannot offer me a solution since he doesn’t think my problem is the settling. He said just basically to fix the minor cosmetic issues that comes with the age of the house and observe. Thank you for your honesty and expertise. The world needs more people like you! I recently had foundational work done to my home by Michael Truelove, Brady Webster & Jaxson Prittchit. As a first time home buyer, knowing that a job like this had to be done was not a great feeling & made me pretty nervous. Very glad to say that their work ethic & customer service was immaculate! They gave a 2 day estimate on their job completion, but were actually able to complete the work within a day & a half. Naturally the job came with a considerable amount of noise, however it never had a negative impact on our daily lives. The pictures that were shown to me of the finished project were beyond words as I could see everything was done & installed exactly as described from the initial drafts shown. It was truly an impressive experience & the difference that I can feel walking around my home due to their work is quite an amazing feeling!

About 12 years ago, I noticed a step pattern crack in masonry between bricks on one side of my house. I called Alpha Foundation and after their and inspection and proposal, I accepted their proposal and they fixed the problem. I have had no other noticeable foundation problems since. Recently, I have decided to downsize and plan to put my home up for sale. I want to be able to guarantee a potential buyer that there are no issues with the foundation. So I called Alpha Foundation again and Sam Bridges, assisted by Brian, performed an extensive inspection, both inside and outside. For the inside of the house, they produced a house diagram showing 4 or more location measurements in each room noting any variance in elevation from the elevation at the center of the house. Only one interior location had a variance of -0.4 or greater so their proposal included steps to stabilize that area. Exterior concrete areas showed cracks, 2 need lifting and several need stabilization only. The price of the overall proposal was very reasonable. I got a 5% discount as a repeat customer. And I have documentation to show potential buyers that the house foundation is still solid after 24 years. The inspectors were very professional, showed me all issues found, explained how the issues would be resolved and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Alpha Foundations.

I cannot speak highly enough of the field supervisor, Frankie Jasinski. He was extremely responsive to the issues we experienced at our home following the installation. When we called regarding water entering the basement after the install, he came out promptly to assess the situation. Within just a few hours, he had a crew scheduled to come out and make the necessary repairs. It was a pleasure working with Preston, Gusterio and Roberto. I was very apprehensive about the whole job at first. To watch all my flowers being dug up and big holes and mounds of dirt in there place, was a little distressing to say the least. Preston kept telling me everything was going to okay. They let me watch the whole process, then they replanted all my flowers minus a few weeds that needed to be pulled. When they completed the job I was amazed at how everything looked. If you need your home stabilized I would recommend AFS and Preston's crew.

He was very thorough in explaining all the details and did a walk around the house. We didn't have any major issues that he could see so we didn't do a repair with the company. Mark and Brandon were two employees who visited my home for the repair of a large crack in my garage and also caulking around the perimeter of partial of my outside house foundation. They are excellent. Friendly and not impatient with me with answering my questions. Brandon is a professional and cordial young man and presents himself well. Mark is exceptionally friendly and forthright with what the plan was. They could only complete some of the work due to my garage situation and he told me that. And was thorough with the notes at what had to be done. He explained that I will have to call the company to discuss a refund due to the fact they could not complete the original order due to my garage floor situation. I appreciate his honesty and explanation. The floor looks better than it did due to the minimal lifting of the floor they were able to do. They did an excellent job with caulking and sanding. Thank you Brandon and Mark.
