Almost in North Carolina, and trying to get any home Repair is extremely difficult, so it was a blessing when the AFS inspector showed app was very timely, polite and very good at communicating …he gave me exactly what I needed to know about my home. It is over 100 years old and I could find no one over the past 2 and a 1/2 years who might look at the foundation and do the repairs. Caleb Loy was courteous, efficient and very well spoken. He did an excellent job of explaining the situation of my foundation, using actual pictures for real time accuracy so I could grasp the seriousness of the disrepair and neglect from previous owners, and then gave an exemplary presentation of how my home could be saved, and last for future generations. If you are near Butler, Johnson City, Kingsport to Knoxville, ask for Caleb Loy.

The team of men who handled our basement waterproofing project were excellent from start to finish. Our salesman, Neil, visited our home and took us through their waterproofing steps and policies step-by-step. We had sought two other bids, as well, and FRS offered the best services, package deal, guarantee and financing of the three bids. They worked with us on the best dates for us for the project. Everything was accomplished just as Neil said it would be, and we are exceedingly pleased. We had a crew of three gentlemen who arrived three days ago to install our basement waterproofing. Foreman Devon, and crew members Roy and Owen were simply excellent workers and exceptional people. Each day this week they walked us through what they had accomplished that day and explained thoroughly why everything was done the way it was. Today before pulling out they finished up explaining everything we would need to know in the next couple weeks. Thank you to FRS For coming through exactly as you promised. We would be happy to be a reference for anyone who has questions from a homeowner. We look forward to turning our entire system on in a few weeks ~ returning appliances and storage shelving to their places around the walls ~ after the concrete has cured. It looks like a whole new basement… And that’s saying a lot for a 100 year old house in Webster Groves. Thanks Neil, Devon, Roy and Owen.

My experience with JES was overall positive. I had work on foundation, crawlspace and carport floor. The front office did not give me enough information about when each crew was coming and how long their job would take. Also the group that marked my yard for gas, water and electric lines did not mark the sewer line and did not ask me about it. The first crew was led by Keon Smith – they did foundation work and did a good, efficient job. They worked hard the whole time. The second crew was led by Jacob Jackson and they put crawl space supports and floor cover in. They had to come through a bedroom in the basement. They did also did a great job. They left no mess. The third crew was led by Michael Franklin and they worked to flatten my carport floor. Again, they were efficient and did the best they could.

Although the crew was unable to complete the job we had expected, Andrew was amazing to work with. He kept us abreast of everything they ran across including what might happened if they moved forward. He was very informative and helpful. He also contacted other engineers to confirm his decision. He went far beyond helping us, he even assisted us in finding a sub contractor to rebuild the basement wall and sent them measurements and pictures of the space. He is working on getting our down payment returned. Devon and Dion were great to work with as well, friendly and hard workers. Would definitely recommend all three of them.

I had the best experience working with Michael Drebes on our driveway and front porch concrete repair. We needed poly renewal injections to lift and stabilize sinking sections, and Michael Drebes explained the entire process clearly from start to finish. He walked us through what was happening under the concrete, why it was settling, and how the injections would permanently address the issue. The results were incredible. Our driveway is level again, the front porch feels solid and safe, and everything looks clean and professionally finished. The work was efficient, minimally invasive, and completed exactly as promised. If you’re dealing with uneven concrete or sinking slabs, I highly recommend Michael Drebes he is Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about doing the job right.

100% recommend! In the two years we’ve owned our home, we’ve worked with several other less expensive companies to remediate water intrusion issues to no avail. After witnessing the waterproofing success that a family member achieved with Dry-Pro, we finally hired them, and only wish we had contacted them from the very beginning! Amadou, our field inspector and first point of contact, was personable and knowledgeable and spent extended time listening while we described our issues and he assessed our home. He also contacted us several times before the job started to make sure we were prepared. Johnathan, Marco, and Cesar were the gentlemen that actually did the work and despite having to demo concrete and remove drywall, they somehow managed to leave the space just as clean as it was when they started! Jonathan was also very thorough when we did the final walkthrough; he happily answered all of our questions and provided pictures of the work they did from beginning to end, making sure we understood what was done and how everything would work together. Even the Dry-Pro electrician, Nick, was fantastic to work with! He clearly explained what he was doing and provided valuable information about how it would work with various other electrical components in our older home. Everyone we worked with at Dry-pro has been easy to work with, responsive, and efficient. All have also repeatedly told us to call Dry-Pro if we have any issues or concerns, suggesting that they feel confident about guaranteeing the work they do. Their no interest financing option also made achieving a dry home possible!

I noticed small cracks in my wall in my addition. We are planning to upgrade the windows and wanted to know if there was any issues with the foundation so I called Groundwork’s for their free consult. Chad came out and assessed the situation. He crawled under my deck and checked the floor for level and determined it wasn’t a foundation issue, giving me peace of mind that I can go forward with my plans. Chad was knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I offered to pay him for his time but he refused to accept any payment. I definitely would recommend Groundworks.

We recently used Groundworks to lift our house due to noticeable bounce in the floors, significant sloping in the kitchen and other areas and generally uneven surfaces that even caused a door jam and prevented a door from closing properly. We also had a concerning crack on the wall. We were impressed from the very beginning. Matthew conducted a thorough initial inspection, patiently addressing all of our (my husband and my) questions, concerns, and opinions with remarkable attention to detail. This thoroughness continued with Foreman Brandon and his crew Quandarius Turner, and Gabe, who completed the house lifting expertly. Brandon was particularly accommodating and clearly explained all the necessary adjustments, and the end result is just incredible. This was the best quote we have ever gotten, but what truly sealed the deal was the professionalism and expertise of the entire Groundwork team, including Matthew, Brandon, Quandarius Turner , and Gabe. After having three different waterproofing companies assess our basement we’re glad we chose BQ Basements & Concrete (Groundworks). Josh came out initially to inspect and was very well informed. He was able to answer all of our questions and explain the process and reasoning behind it very clearly. He also made himself available to answer any other questions that came up over the phone or texts. On the day of the work Steve (foreman), Pedro, Tim, and Chris arrived on time and got right to work. They took extra care to cover the few items we had in the basement and to keep dust from getting into the rest of the house. They started with some demo before working on the drain system. Steve was communicative and invited me to see their progress along the way. The crew was not only hardworking but respectful and friendly. They seemed quite efficient and finished when they said they would. They also did a great job cleaning up and left the basement cleaner than before they got there. This was the most well organized and efficient company that we encountered. Thanks to BQ Basements we now have the ease of mind of a waterproofed basement.

I went with Tarheel Basement Systems to have my crawlspace encapsulated. I liked the Sean Madden gave but I have to admit the follow up was spotty. I was given dates work would be done but I had to call to find out exact times. I expected a little more communication but, in the end, Tarheel showed up when they said they would, and they did the work they promised. Macai and Fred did a great job encapsulating the crawlspace. I'm pretty picky and I went down and inspected things myself. There is no way I could have done a good a job as they did. The work these guys do is grueling in unsavory conditions. I had a small issue with the crawlspace door and dehumidifier pump, but both were fixed in short order. In the end I'm happy with how things turned out and I would recommend Tarheel to anyone looking to get their crawlspace encapsulated.

March 18 2025 Parris and Kyle with afs were on time and were very professional. Parris was the lead and he explained the entire process before the work commenced. We had 3 sections of our side driveway repaired. The entire process took approximately 2 hours. Both Parris and Kyle were attentive to the questions and very professional. We will gladly recommend Parris and Kyle with AFS for any future work. 5 stars.

Today a very professional service technician, Austin Holt, stopped by to inspect the work that Groundworks completed a year ago. The one year inspection is part of their initial service…which I think is Brilliant! Groundworks can monitor their lasting quality…plus ensure a continued relationship with the customer. In my case, Austin Holt noted that some grout had separated from the concrete patio that had been raised. He offered to reseal it while he was here. He did an outstanding job of resealing. Took lots of pictures of the project (before and after the grout work), to submit to the office for further review. Overall…super happy with Groundworks staff and service.

Been skeptical about calling a larger company to inspect my home. Bigger company means more expensive. Cesar came recommend by a friend so I called him. Final price was fairly high and w ate figuring how to pay for the work without financing. Had others come with a cheaper option but did not have the expertise and thoroughness that Caeser showed. We decided was not about the cost but the value. As soon as we get our finances in order we will have FRS do the work. Thanks for the education

I noticed some cracks in my foundation and some starting to go up to the roof. JES had weatherized my years before so I asked them about it and they showed me where my house was sinking, causing the foundation and walls to crack. I had them come and do the foundation work and it was amazing. They jacked up the house in some areas and I couldn’t see the cracks anymore. They stabilized everything and now I feel so much better. It was scary to see that happening. These guys worked so hard and were excited to show me the cracks were closed. They took great pride in their work and did an excellent job. Great work ethic and were here when they were supposed to be. Can’t say enough good things about this whole experience.

Initially, I chose a bad contractor and the company did not perform anything they said they would for a month. I had to constantly follow-up and call them. I selected a different company called Groundwork! They came out the next and provided a free inspection and quote. Two days later I was given an extremely less expensive quote than the bad contractor and signed the contract. Brent Statham was so awesome gave me different courses of actions and in the end told me to rest easy we will take care of everything from here! 10 out of 10 I do recommend!
