They started the job earlier than expected. They put in piers because the back of my house was dropping. When they were done I had cracks in drywall close up and doors that latched without lifting on them. Robert and his crew did a great job. I can't believe it only took a couple days. The lifetime warranty is a big plus for resale.

We needed to have a basement wall with a 2" bow braced and sealed to reverse the erosion and momentum of the hillside behind us. Michael Peterson and Chris Chouiery, our team from OBA, showed up on time, went straight to work and took care of everything we needed in 4 hours. Had several Intellibraces and a wall anchor installed. They were great in all aspects of the job. This was the 2nd major job we had to have done by OBA and we highly recommend them.

The crew took their time leveling each section, adjusting the base where needed, and securing the stones so everything sat evenly and firmly in place. The entire project was completed in about a day, and they kept the area tidy throughout the process. Before the repair, the walkway felt a bit unstable in spots and didn’t look very uniform. Now, it feels much safer to walk on and has a more consistent, polished look that blends nicely with the rest of the yard.

My basement flooded after the snowcrete of 2026 thawed and I had several people come to give me estimates. I had decided on a contractor, but kept my estimate appointment with JES to do my due diligence. Well, Ajeet completely sold me on JES; he explained how flooding via hydrostatic pressure occurs, with videos and diagrams, and I really appreciated the time he took to explain it all to me in a way that made sense. I changed my mind immediately (original contractor was going to do all work outside the house) and I am the proud new owner of a sump pump and basement gutter. The team that came to install, Minyard, John, and Anthony, were great. We did a walk through each morning and then again once the job was done. The basement looks great and you can't even tell where they buried the gutter extensions outside. I definitely recommend JES if you have a wet basement.

I was nervous about this project but my nerves were eased right away. They were all very informative and explained to me what they were doing. All were very approachable with all my questions. We had James Tobin come by and do up an estimate for my mum today. She has a brick wall that's been standing for over 40 years with no problems (house was built in the early 1960's), until a big new house was built next door. They excavated right to (even a little past in places) the property line where the foundation for this brick wall is. Once done the deep basement construction, they didn't properly tamp down the ground around this new house and as a result, there still are some significant slumping issues. Including this 40+ year old brick wall, which has now cracked and has developed a lean, which is getting worse almost daily. The developer and builder of this new house refused to take any responsibility. We've had a few bricklayers come and take a look and their recommendation has been to tear down the wall and rebuild, or even suggesting to make do with a wooden fence in its place. Mum (who's 85) has been quite upset through all this, especially being buffaloed by that builder. But, after the initial online contact form and some pre-appointment calls with Groundworks, along came James Tobin this morning and the weight of all this drama, has been, for the most part, lifted. James did an excellent job of explaining who Groundworks is and what they do, how they think they can alleviate the situation and gave a thorough explanation of the technology and process involved to achieve success. James was on-time, proficient, competent, understanding and friendly. Everything you could ask for when someone comes to your door to help solve a problem! Now, if only that #@$%@&> of a developer/builder had taken this path, we wouldn't be in this mess! But, there you go. So, if you ever find yourself needing the services of concrete lifting / remediation (and the like – they do a lot) company – do not hesitate in contacting Groundworks and ask for James Tobin specifically! You'll be glad that you did! We're very happy with his visit!

Will, Adam and Ober, come out on the scheduled date and got right to work, as things went along they identified some ways to improve the initial solution, we talked about it, I appreciate the opportunity they took to improve my situation. Without delay they charged straight ahead with the new plan and actually saved me a few dollars in the process. Will and Adam's explanation of each and every step of the project was perfect. Outstanding service, would recommend these people for any foundation issues you may have. 10 out of 10 would do it again.

He took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the inspection and walked us through the details afterward. When my husband stepped out briefly, Clarke kindly stayed and repeated the explanation to ensure my husband fully understood the scope of work he was recommending. From the initial visit by Adam who inspected my entire 100 year old house and laid out a plan of action, to the crew who came out to take care of the situation I was 100% satisfied with this company! Communication and explanation from everyone involved was thorough and easily understood throughout the inspection to the completion of the job. Mark, Kevin and Marcos were all so friendly and respectful on every level. Many thanks to Irving for coming over to lend his expertise and also to Bill for coming out with added support during the work. “BONUS” (? lol): While digging along one side of the basement wall, Irving discovered a sink hole surrounding the old clay clean-out piping. That connection down to the sewer line was no longer properly attached all the way which allowed a slow leak for who knows how long. That was definitely to my advantage so that I could get that repair completed while the dig out was still open. I also appreciated a completion visit from Matthew. What a great team!!! Donna

This review is only for the consultation. Rhett came out to look at our crawl space and recommend solutions. He took his time and was very thorough taking pictures of the entire space. When it came time to sit down and discuss what’s happening and recommend a solution Rhett explained everything and made sure I understood not only what’s happening in the space but also that I understood the solution and the why. Rhett was very friendly and knowledgeable about the entire process. He is a huge asset to AFS and set a high bar for all in home consultation services to reach.

Great job by the ground Werks Crew. Everyone was on time with great communication. Kenneth was our crew leader with Junior and Junior Jr. They raised and stabilized my foundation. Gaps were closed and all but one window works now. Backyard was clean. Pricing was reasonable. They try to upsell a pier addition option on site. Hopefully I don’t need them again, but I will be referring them.

Well, this is the second time I’ve had groundwork’s come do a project, the first time, they waterproofed part of my basement, this time they finished it. I will let the past be the past, there is no sense in bringing up old dirt but I will tell you I was very skeptical about calling them again. I almost went with a whole new company to come in and just see what they could do so I didn’t have to deal with them again. This time around was so easy and so quick, the crew that came out was very knowledgeable and so kind. When John my sales tech came out, I think he was here for around 4 hours! While I drilled him with questions, he was very patient and understanding of my concerns. I am very happy with the way it turned out and I would recommend groundwork’s to anyone looking to waterproof their basement!
