Our house had been shifting off its foundation for years. The walls were starting to separate from the floors and you had to almost body slam our back door to get it open or closed. Groundworks came in and installed braces underneath the foundation on the side and back walls of our home. It actually raised up the back of our house. We could actually feel the earth move under our feet! Our back door now opens and closes with ease. It’s like Christmas morning every day. Byron, Jorge and all of the other men who worked on our house deserve a huge shoutout. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly, including what they found, possible causes, and the recommended solutions. This team is fantastic! Mark first came to my home, assessed my needs and proposed a solution. During the preparation stage, Mark and other members of the team stayed in touch. On remediation day 1, Silvino contacted me regarding his arrival time. The excellent communication continued over the 2 days they were in my home. His team was polite, professional and extremely clean. They minimized the intrusion in my life, which isn't easy when you have jackhammers in your basement. Upon their exit, Silvino promised to send photos of the entire process. I highly recommend Groundworks!

Interesting. I left a mixed Google review of JES a few months ago. They replied that they checked their records, I was not in their file, and to call them to follow up. The next day, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from JES, and we set a date and time for him to come to my home to check the problems I had with the work. This person never showed up. Was he even with JES or was someone trying to scam me in some way? I searched his phone number online and nothing came up.

After doing much research we called Alpha foundations to stabilize the floors in our older home built on a stemwall. Mallik, Antoine & Andrew came as planned, spent hours digging & securing metal jacks under our house to prevent the floors from bouncing. Mallik sent photos for us to see, numbering each jack they installed and showed the before, mid & finished jacks that were installed. He & Antoine explained we have an extended service for 5 years and that they can keep making slight adjustments in order to ensure a stable floor. They were very professional and were happy to answer questions we had.

We reached out to GroundWorks based on a friend’s recommendation as we were concerned about our house foundation sloping. Shayan came out to help us assess the situation and performed a thorough inspection of the foundation. He took the time to carefully evaluate the structure and clearly explained what he was seeing throughout the process. Fortunately, the results showed that our home’s foundation is in good condition and there were no structural concerns. He did recommend installing earthquake bolting since our home currently doesn’t have it, which could help improve safety and stability during seismic activity. Shayan was professional, thorough, and honest. We really appreciated that he didn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs and instead provided straightforward guidance and recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re grateful for the peace of mind.

The crew that came out from AFS to install 6 pillars were fantastic. They are Josh B Bailey L Isaiah W Kuda They worked awesome as a team!!! The work was explained to me what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and what materials they were using. Answered any and all questions. One of the points they made was they would dig down till they hit rock, well here in Mt. Juliet you don’t have to dig very far as a matter of fact footer sat on rock ( 5 of 6 did) These men had jackhammers to bust out rock a foot down them undermine the footer 6” in order to get pillars in. They worked for two days jackhammering to accomplish this task. They worked together not just one doing all the work, they were awesome!!! Hard to find good workers like that anymore!!! It would be nice if they had a hoe ram attachment for their mini-x Would have saved them time and their backs. Once again they Never Slacked!!! I would highly recommend this group to do any of your work you need done ! They respected our home , yard and dogs:)! They were very professional Thank you we appreciate it very much I would like to give 10 starts but not an option. Call em you won’t be sorry you did !!!

We’ve had Groundworks out to our house three different times for foundation issues, and DeVaughn and his crew (Lu & Bleh) have been our favorite to work with by far. We even had heavy rain one day while they were here, and they were really careful not to track mud into the house, which we appreciated. They were super professional, easy to communicate with, and just great to work with overall. Can’t recommend them enough!

I had IBA install a mix of Intellijacks and carbon strips in on one of my basement walls. Dylan really hung in there on the prior project and came up with a workable solution for me — I felt he went far out of his way and demonstrated care that is rare.. During the yearly follow up for that work (which is holding up), it was identified that some Intellijacks for foundation beams would help solidify my house (the beams were wood and not large enough, so the house was shifting). Ricky did a great job explaining the situation and my options. He also spoke at length with me and took time to help me understand when I had questions and got confused. Jeremiah T and Mark F. did the work and were excellent. It was invasive work, but they were pleasant to be around, communicated clearly, were fast, and kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up afterward. No one wants to have this sort of work be necessary — IBA was recommended by a construction friend and I agree they are a good choice if you do need this sort of work. Professional, thorough, and guarantees included with their products and work.

John, Josh, and Quade arrived on time. They completed the removal of the old insulation in the crawl space and installed styrofoam boards and spray foam to the interior side of the foundation. John showed me a lot of pictures of the finished product and it looked wonderful not having the old insulation hanging down. They did a great job! Groundwork’s has been a very reliable company and will continue to use on my yearly maintenance .

Great work deserves high praise, and I have nothing but high praise for Ohio Basement Authority (“OBA”) and, in particular, the individuals that performed my work. I worked with the folks at their Cincinnati office on push pier installation and poly injection to stabilize and correct a foundation settlement issue on my house. Although I interviewed three different companies specializing in this type of work, I was most impressed with OBA for many reasons and ultimately decided to go with OBA, a decision which I am glad that I made. I initially met with Mark Overmyer for the initial evaluation and proposed solution to correct my foundation issue. Right from the start I was really impressed with Mark’s straightforward and comprehensive explanation of the services I would need….Mark is an engineer and even showed me the exact point where my home was starting to settle using his transit and other tools, which helped explain the number and location of push piers needed. His precision and thoroughness really impressed me. However, there were other things that made me decide to use OBA. For example, I found OBA’s contract to be fair and balanced when compared to my review of competitor contracts. Also, OBA does things by the book and got the necessary permits….that unfortunately may not necessarily always the case with other companies. I also spoke to other OBA customers and they had nothing but great things to say about OBA and how pleased they are with the work they performed. I definitely liked OBA’s product warranty and the fact that, unlike some companies, OBA does not charge an excess per foot additional charge should a pier exceed a specific depth, which could really increase the project cost should it occur. The fact that OBA does what it takes to install piers at whatever depth so required to be solid and stable and at no additional charge gave me much peace of mind. The OBA folks on the front end for sales and contracting were excellent to work with, but the actual individuals on the installation crew were even more so and absolutely outstanding in every respect. I had a crew comprised of Sean (the foreman), Elisha and Simon doing the push piers. For the poly injection part of the job I had a crew comprised of Seth (the foreman) and his colleague (sorry but I can’t recall his name). It is rare to see such a hard-working and conscientious group of workers. The moment they arrived, they impressed me with how professional and customer-oriented they were, and it was that way throughout the job. All of the great things I had heard from others about OBA when I was doing my research definitely played out on my job with these individuals. Unfortunately, the Google rating system is only five stars for the highest rating, but these fellows deserve at least eight or ten stars on a five star rating system. I found OBA to be a fine company to do business with, and the individuals I dealt with from there on every stage of the project were exceptional and did a fine job of representing OBA as a company.

Krista did a wonderful job. She started outside and had me show her my areas of concern and explained what was going to happen next with her inspection. Once the inspection was completed she showed me the areas that actually were an issue and the areas that were fine. She had created a diagram that went over what needed to be fixed and how each area would need be fixed since some were different. This was great for me because in one smaller area I was going to need an additional lower level of support. She explained what the lower level of support was and why I needed it in only that small area. After showing me everything and explaining how it would be fixed she made sure I didn't have any questions. We went over her estimate, what the process would be and then reviewed the contract. She again made sure I didn't have any questions before I signed the contract. I had a great experience with Groundworks and highly recommend Krista.

My experience with Groundworks was great-they offered the exact service I was looking for (concrete lifting) in order to stop water from pooling on a big concrete slab so that I could avoid replacing or resurfacing. Michael, the certified field inspector, was friendly and thorough. The techs, Oscar, the foreman, and Ricardo (Rick), were polite, professional, detail oriented, and good communicators. The procedure was done exactly as described and reached the desired outcome, just as I’d been prepared to expect.

This company came through for us when we needed them the most. After having a home fire a few months earlier, money was tight, and Jonathan was incredibly understanding. He offered several affordable options and made sure we were taken care of. We had rain coming within the week, and I was worried about the brand‑new carpet we had just installed. Jonathan and his team got us scheduled quickly and finished the job before the storm hit. It poured the next day, and thanks to their work, we had zero flooding — and still don’t to this day. We hired FSM Grand Rapids to spray foam insulate our crawl space and install a dehumidifier to help with the dampness in that area. All four workers, Jalen, DeShawn, Reggie, and Jamont were very helpful, friendly and professional. The crawl space looks so much better than it did and we are happy that it is sealed off from the cold weather. I would highly recommend FSM Grand Rapids for any of your foundation work!
