I really appreciated George's time and expertise with the consult. He did not try to hard sell me on any very expensive (and possibly unnecessary) services like the previous company did. He told me exactly what the issues were and made some recommendations, which happened to be services Alpha didn't actually perform. I was very impressed with that level of integrity (a quality that seems to be lacking in a lot of businesses these days) and will not hesitate to reach out to Alpha if I require their services in the future.

Raymond & Gavin came out today to stabilize my concrete porch. Raymond explained the process, showed us the drill bit size and answered all our questions. He and Gavin went straight to work and were done in about 1.5 hours. Raymond worked on filling the holes while Gavin meticulously sealed the crack. After clean up they gave us care instructions and asked if we had any additional questions. Very courteous and polite. Job well done.

After doing so, he told me the best solution was a service that Aquaguard didn’t provide, but he gave me a couple alternatives. I greatly appreciate his thoroughness and honesty. Even though they aren’t providing the solution, I would highly recommend you consider their services, and ask for Adrian Haynes.

I have an old house & very limited to no funds due to all the repairs i have had to have done w/this place the last 10years. So i have dealt w/many contractors. Some r rude, vague, very abrupt & abbrasive. Matt took his time to look over the situation & discuss w/me what he saw that needed addressing sooner than later & was detailed & patient w/explaining it to me. I had a few minor hiccups w/the company’s office manager & the crew that did the job. Nothing that couldn't be easily addressed & corrected. However, she was not always returning my calls & was hard to get ahold of so i reached out to Matt. He was always VERY polite & knowledgeable & was able to take care of the issues immediately. Very professional ALWAYS but very much a human being first. If he is in charge of ur job u can bet he will do EVERYTHING in his power to make it right!! Even AFTER the job is done & paid for. Their deferred intrest program was a great deal for me. Thank you Joe. I had a Groundworks crew at my house within 10 days. Jon, Pa and Pay started work right away. They did all prep work, the work of installing 6 piers, all the clean up and answered any questions I had. We had an extremely wet basement, pretty much completely unusable. Jim B, field inspector, came out and showed us the plan as to how to reinforce one wall and mitigate any water issues. Jim was very thorough and showed a great deal of personal care regarding our project. We decided to do the demolition part ourselves, but Jim was constantly in touch to make sure we were on track and answered any questions that came up. Moving forward to the execution of the project, Nick M, foreman and his partner, Mark, came out and completed the job in just 2 days! They were extremely professional and impressively efficient, and took the time to show me what was happening at each stage of the process. After a couple of rains already, our basement is 100% bone dry and I simply could not be happier. What a stress relief and Groundwork’s team made the whole process quick and painless. I couldn’t recommend their services more!

While the news was not what we wanted to hear, Darin gave us a detailed explanation and answered all of our questions and concerns. He also provided a solution that is the most minimally invasive which we appreciated. I want to mention that Darin also explained the long-term effects of what could happen if we choose not to move forward with the repairs. If you have the opportunity to work with Kevin MacDonald, we highly recommend him. He is super honest, thorough, friendly, and made sure we were in the know with everything he was doing while inspecting our property. He saved us thousands of dollars by confirming nothing is wrong with our property when another competitor told us opposite just to get paid. Communication with Ground Works and staff is always smooth. I knew when Riley would arrive and Brandon let me know Riley was in my driveway. Riley was/is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in his examining, and describing, the foundation and any changes that occurred since the last yearly review. I was able to ask questions and get answers. Riley suggested a dehumidifying/air purifying system that would be beneficial and he was able to install it that day. My house is old, but continues to be safe and strong. Thank you Ground Works, Riley, Brandon and those who have been here in the past working and inspecting.

Great experience. Was able to easily book an inspection for my first available date. John L. came to the house to look at our problem and expertly formulated a plan. Explained to me what was wrong and what products were best to use to fix the problem. I was able to be placed on the work calendar much sooner than I anticipated. On the service date, foreman Matt K. outlined again the plan for installation of the beam and jacks required to fix our sagging floor. He answered a couple of my questions in clear terms that I could understand. Crew members Xavier T. and Tommy D. were friendly but very professional and highly efficient in their work flow. Matt K called the morning of just to ensure correct service time but FSM uses a texting system to update the customer of everything on the service date. When they’re leaving the shop, when they’ve arrived at the property. Worked flawlessly. All of it exceeded expectations!

I had flooding in the basement of my newly purchased home. AFS made the process of dealing with this nightmare seamless and easy. Caleb, Gavin and Jaxson came out and added the appropriate drainage system to my basement. They were fast and clean. They even filled in a hole I’d dug in the yard to investigate. They left it cleaner than they found it and I truly appreciate that. I would recommend them to others with water intrusion issues.

In addition to the normal settling over the years they had to deal with a sidewalk that was damaged by a sewer replacement issue 18 months ago. They were on time, courteous, explained everything and finished the job quicker than I thought possible. Sidewalk is almost like new. Warranty adds peace of mind. They cleaned up and when done, it looked like they were never there. Awesome job guys!

Dan just did my yearly inspection and he was very professional, prompt and thoughtful! He called to tell me when he would arrive, he put on shoe covers without me asking and quickly got to work. He walked around the outside of my house and pointed out a problem with my porch, no other service technician has ever walked around the outside of my home. Trust, we are a tough audience. They are not the cheapest but gave us the peace of mind knowing we will be taken care of no matter what. No surprise up charges, just a straight black and white pricing. The products are definitely superior to the other 7 estimates we received for foundation repair. I was having my water heater replaced while they were here and they even helped the plumber get the old water heater up and out of the basement! Some awesome young men. Chris, George, and Josiah came and worked on our project. Although the project ended up being slightly more complicated than anticipated, the guys did an amazing job. Great communication, very very professional, and always on time. Never left us feeling like we were not a priority. I had a crew come in to do some work, a week ago, and I really liked the main guy. I especially noticed that Seth R and another worker did an amazing job. Seth R clearly put in the time and effort, and his work really stood out my husband and I were both very impressed. He had the right balance of quality and speed, knew exactly what he was talking about, and the final result looks great. I would definitely recommend Seth R and would love to have him back for future jobs if we’re able to request specific workers. If I had kids around his age, I would want them to work as hard as he does. He truly put in the blood, sweat, and tears to get the job done, and his dedication really showed. He was incredible, and I would highly recommend him.
