My husband and I had a great experience with Mount Valley! Brandon did our initial consultation. He was timely, thorough, and answered all our questions professionally. We had work done on two separate days and again everyone who showed up had amazing customer service. Will, Jimmy, Ober, Austin, and Michael all answered any questions we had without making us feel like we were in the way. Excellent experience, overall! Everyone we spoke to, from the initial estimate to setting up appts, to the installation, they were all absolutely lovely and professional. The crew was communicative, showed up on-time, walked us through their POA for the day, had us take a look at their progress periodically, and even finished earlier than estimated. They were thoughtful of our property and answered all of our questions. (We had a lot 😅) Grateful to have found people that are not afraid of hard work and take pride in the finished product. Eamonn and his team of Jeremy, Brian, and Justin all came today to help waterproof the basement for our new home. The previous owners left extensive damage and let mold get out of control in many basement walls. Although it was initially quoted for 2 days of work, they were able to get everything done in 6 hours and our basement is now fully waterproofed and clear of mold through high quality work. Eamonn made sure to answer any questions I had throughout the day and fully explained the work they were performing. I highly recommend using GroundWorks and their team for any waterproofing work.

Our annual AFS inspection results showed major concerns with our basement. Thankful the inspection tech found the issues early. We had a second dehumidifier installed and the floor joists and sub flooring sprayed to kill mold that had begun to form. AFS was able to schedule us within 2 weeks of inspection. The installation techs were prompt, very efficient, and cleaned up after work was done. They were in contact with me during the entire process. Highly recommend AFS for any foundation/basement concerns.

He took his time laser measured everything and explained what to look for outside and I side the house. He even showed me the area of my house were it was engineered wrong (built in 1966). My experience with JES Foundation Repair was a positive one. My sales rep, Chad drove two hours to meet with me at my property in Reedville, VA to review repair work I needed done to a rotted out, two story-shed foundation box. He later met with me and my wife at our home in Richmond to explain the solution they proposed using photos he had taken. He was polite, professional and friendly and took time to answer our questions. The initial scheduling date had to be postponed due to icy weather. JES communicated well the entire time and the work was rescheduled to a later date. On the day the work was to begin the crew called me to say they were on route and they also provided a link via text that allowed me to track their arrival time. Paul Fundersol was the foreman, Mark Collins, Co-Foreman and Jonah Board an installer. And let me tell you this crew WORKED. It was a hell of a job but they attacked it like pros.They tolerated my "hovering" and gave me quite an education in building construction along the way. As with any job there are often curveballs that pop up and this one was no exception, including the discovery of enough tree roots to dam a small river and the unfortunate discovery of a freshly deceased possum resting in peace beneath the floor boards. Watching these guys problem solve and overcome the difficulties of this job was impressive. I sincerely thank the three of them for their knowledge, strong backs, and their attitudes. Three great guys. In closing they saved my building and I'm very happy with the results of the work they completed.

I called and scheduled an estimate for my crawl space. I met with Mark and he was very educational and thorough with the issues found and how it can be resolved. Mark kept open communication with me throughout the whole process. When the contractors arrived at my residence they got right to work. The communication was very open and I appreciated that the most. Overall, I am very pleased and so happy to have a safer and cleaner crawl space. Each employee was respectful and friendly. This company definitely exemplifies honesty and trust because it showed throughout the process and work. I am so thankful and grateful for this experience.

The services provided by Groundworks for the stabilization of our settling house have been outstanding. Stephen Kagin, the field inspector, assessed the situation and proposed a solution, explaining each aspect of the job. Kimberly John and Keeairra Broussard resolved scheduling issues efficiently and flexibly. I was particularly impressed with the project foreman, Tyler Morgan, and his field crew, Luis Bravo and Austin Huarte. They were very professional, knowledgable, hard working, and pleasant to interact with. It is obvious that Tyler and Luis have considerable practical experience, and Austin showed a high level of commitment and dedication to his job duties. They all significantly contributed to making suggestions once it became necessary to adapt the original plan based on observations in the field. They brought back Stephen and a senior member of the company to re-assess the needs and risks of the stabilization effort, resulting in a cost-effective alternative solution. It is this team's experience, professionalism, flexibility, and quality of work that not only gives me confidence that our house is safely stabilized, but also made the experience considerably less stressful than expected.

Travis scheduled my appointment right away, he even gave words of encouragement. James arrived on time as expected, which immediately eased my stress. He was professional, knowledgeable, and explained the problem clearly. The repair was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. Everything is now working perfectly. Pricing was fair, especially given the urgency of the situation. He recommended services to prevent the problem from returning, than created an estimate, which was also a fair price. James offered restoration services for any damage the issue may have caused. I truly appreciate the prompt response and quality service. I am so thankful and grateful for Mike W who serviced my sump pump today. I had a French drain system installed by Groundworks approx. six months ago. The system ran loud and seemed to continually be running. I didn’t recognize that as an issue until it stopped draining water. When Mike checked the system, he found issues with the install that he corrected. My system now runs quieter and has not been constantly on! They even changed my sump pump back up battery, rewired it and fixed my leaky pipe. They went way above and beyond and provided the best customer service I have received in as long as I can remember. Tim Hooper, FSM Service Technician assisted with an assessment of the water system and dehumidifier that FSM installed in our home to that the humidifier is in the correct place and will have efficient ventilation before finishing our basement. Time was very informative, professional and knowledgeable and explained everything in clear and concise manner. While he was at my home for this task, he noticed the cracks on my driveway and offered several options to save the driveway and options to fix the large cracks. We got an estimate for some basement and crawl space moisture mitigation. Ace was the estimator who spent a good amount of time crawling around under the house and in the basement thoroughly documenting the issues. He also prepared a detailed proposal and presented his findings and solutions to us all at the same visit. Ace was very prepared, personable, and patient as he presented his solutions and associated costs. We are still considering how much of the work we plan to take on at this time, but I have confidence Ace and his crew will be able to execute the work as proposed.
