We had 2 workers Guiles Hall and Kevin Brito. They did an outstanding job and were extremely professional throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything to us before , during an after the repairs which we truly appreciated. Their workmanship, professionalism and attention to details were excellent. They cleaned up the work- site and you would never know they were here.I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services. They were all so kind and explained everything they were doing. They got the wall straightened perfectly, cleaned up nicely after themselves, and are suppose to come back and finish the yard after the dirt settles. You never know if a big company is just telling you what you want to hear. When your house is starting to fall apart, big ticket items like fixing your foundation is scary. For a moment, we weren’t sure if we went with the right company. And then Jeremy Elston showed up. It felt like the first time someone was telling us the truth and not scamming us. He was so incredibly thorough and respectful of our home. He took his time and explained to us what he was doing and why. Foundation repairs aren’t always one and done. When the time came to make some adjustments, Jeremy was back and walking us through next steps. We feel confident in the work done and its impact to our home. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve actually stopped having nightmares about the house falling apart. Every professional needs to take a page out of Jeremy’s book.

I'm a Realtor that had a problem: the house I was selling had a major foundation problem. Usually, this can be death to selling a house. I researched different contractors and companies for my out-of-state seller. Groundworks came out and gave a very detailed estimate, explaining exactly what they would do, how they would fix the problem, and what equipment and technology they would use. The seller agreed this was the right solution, and we moved forward. Groundworks took care of everything, including permitting, making the process easy. Immediately after receiving the permits, Groundworks sent up to Monterey a fantastic team of three – Zachary Hersey, Michael Hersey, and Kai Simpson. All three of these young men were excellent. They worked hard, long hours, communicated clearly and consistently – every day I was sent texts or calls, along with photos of the work that was done. They endeavored to leave the home and yard better than how they found it – I was so impressed. I was able to share the progress each day with my seller. And after the work was done, the structure was stabilized, the problems fixed. Now, I can put the house back on the market, knowing the new buyers have a wonderful home with a great warranty on the foundation work. — I want to send an extra shout-out to Zachary. He was such a pleasant, easy to talk to young man. He answered all questions, fixed any problems immediately, and honestly I think he'd make an excellent sales-person for this company. Being a single lady, I felt very comfortable around all three of them. Neighbors came out to ask Zachary's opinions on their homes too, and I'll bet he could have signed up another customer or two who would have benefited from what Groundworks offers. If the owners of the company ever asked my opinion of this 3-person crew with Zachary at the lead, I'd say they should do whatever they can to hang onto them – Zachary, Michael, and Kai would have made them proud! I've already recommended Groundworks to other Realtors in my office, and I would have them ask specifically for Zachary's crew if they can!

Start to finish they let you know everything that’s going on and make sure that you are happy. A secondary note: The cost of doing foundation repair is quite high. Most of that goes to permits and engineering fees. If you’re going to take care of repairing your home, sometimes you just have to pay the price. That old adage of you get what you pay for I believe stands firm in this case.

Excellent professional service! We had the sump pump system installed a year ago and today we had our first annual service to ensure everything is still working as it should. We've had no problems with the system so far but decided to get a battery back up and WiFi monitoring added. The price is worth it to us for the added peace of mind. Adrian Ramos had everything in his truck already and was able to complete installation of everything in less than two hours. Super friendly, prepared, and helpful. Excellent work! Thank you Adrian!! The original installation last year was completed with no problems. The guys were on time, very focused and tidy, excellent workmanship, very professional.

From consultation through completion of work, everyone was the consummate professional. The installer’s work exceeded expectations. Every stage of work was thoroughly explained. Truly, I didn’t know that there was so much junk in my crawl space to be removed. Nonetheless, all loose items were removed.The installation to include removing junk was a full three days. I would definitely recommend the full package to include dehumidifier as advertised. Now, I wait for return on investment ((ROI) – lowering of inside dust and energy efficiency. I am disabled. It was critical that it be completed quickly so a new deck could be built so I didn't fall. The sinking of the house and front stoop made it very unsafe. It took two days and they were done , cleaned up making sure it was safe for me. I really appreciate the quality of the work. It being done in a timely fashion and being Cleaned up. So no matter the problem with shoring up things they can fix it. I got my referral from a neighbor who said they were wonderful with their sinking driveway.

Had the inspection today, Jeff was very thorough in asking what my concerns were. After obtaining the data needed, we sat down to review the findings and proposal. It was refreshing that it was not a high pressure sale, and Jeff was respectful that I wanted to discuss the findings and cost with my son. I was expecting a much higher total or a more involved project, which ended up not being the case. I don’t feel there was any upselling at all. Something to consider.

Huge thanks to Phil for visiting us in a weekend and quickly finding out and explaining to us what exactly the water issue was in our basement. Logan, Holden, Clarence and Taí did a stellar work building our basement’s drainage system and installing the pump. Their Team worked tirelessly and finished the work in 2 days as promissed. They found an issue with an unexpexted hídden wall found behind the drywall that could have been a barrier to installing the draining system.
