What really stood out was their professionalism and honesty. they clearly explained what was going on, gave me straightforward pricing, and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. The work was done efficiently and cleanly, and they made sure everything was fully tested before leaving. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in their work. It’s such a relief to find a company that’s reliable, knowledgeable, and respectful of your home. If you’re dealing with any drain or sewer issues, I highly recommend A1 Drain and Sewer. We chose Indiana Foundation because of their good reputation and quality of work. They completed the job in 3 days as we were told, even with a couple unexpected issues that came up! I have no complaints about the technicians sent to my house. There were several, as they kept sending people who were too big to fit under…
I have no complaints about the technicians sent to my house. There were several, as they kept sending people who were too big to fit under my house, but they were all nice and professional. Eventually, the Service Manager showed up with a team and things moved a little faster. However, ultimately it took six months to get any actual work completed. They just finished up the last piece of the project Jan 2, 2026, which was late, but it was the primary thing I wanted and needed done – it was the warranty work – adjusting the jacks. It wasn’t completed by the date they originally said it would be, but it was eventually done and it did help. I also asked for a crawl space encapsulation. I didn’t get an encapsulation, I got a vapor barrier. It was included in the $28K worth of other recommended work, that I paid for. At this point I don’t know if it was worth it, but I sure hope it was. For me, that’s a lot of money! Anyway, two of their project foremen said the sump pump they installed was in the wrong place or there should be an additional one installed at the back corner of my house where the water (groundwater seepage) is actually occurring at. The Production Manager did call me back and agreed to re-evaluate in three months and said if the current setup with the installed French drains and sump pump at the front of the house isn’t getting that groundwater seepage out, he’ll have a crew install a second sump pump in that other location for free. Again, no complaints about the crews or quality of the work. Just questioning the accuracy and timeliness. It took so long that one of my walls finally cracked and that could have been avoided. Great work by Derrick, James, Jerome. Also Jarrod and Will – and their crews.

Daniel Cippone with Groundworks was honestly fantastic to work with. I’ve dealt with a few technicians over the years, but Daniel really stood out right away, he clearly knows his stuff, and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He was friendly, respectful, and made sure I understood what was going on at every step, which really helped ease the stress of the situation. When my sump pump failed, I was pretty overwhelmed, but he showed up the same day and didn’t leave until everything was fully taken care of so we wouldn’t risk a flooded basement. That kind of responsiveness and care is hard to come by these days. I really appreciated his help, thank you again, Daniel.

After a year of difficulties with AG and multiple issues, a crew I had not interacted with were called out to my house to fix the issues for good (after I threatened legal complaint). I felt like rolling my eyes and saying “yeah, right”. I felt I had to review now because “Kornbred”, J.W., & Jay arrived. Kornbred immediately apologized that I had had so many bad experiences and flatly stated that he and the crew were here to repair and would be there until things were right. I was skeptical due to experience, but I am writing today to say he kept his word. He and his team were careful with my home, worked in freezing temperatures, and truly got my home secure. Kornbred took me to see the hours of work and make sure I felt it was correctly done. After a very awful year with AG, this man and his team lived up to what they said. I want this man to know I appreciate his honesty, workmanship, and attitude. He was upfront, did not double talk, and didcwhat he said. Kornbred should be promoted to training supervisor for Aqua Guard for technicians. All the lies would be cut and the work would live up to the tv commercials. Maybe he, J.W. & Jay should be the advertisement. Give them a well deserved raise! They did what all the rest did not, could not or would not do… including management at various levels. Next time – just send Kornbred & crew.

I was very happy with every part of their service. Their sales woman was a really good communicator, very clear, knowledgeable and thorough about what they were going to do for our crawl space. Rosalino and his crew were amazing, and made sure that we were happy with his work, and definitely has a measure twice, cut once kind of mentality. Before getting started, he carefully discussed what he was going to do to make sure it was what I expected. I couldn't have asked for a better foreman. He notified us immediately when unexpected things happened (leaks in our plumbing), and helped mitigate it until I was able to get a plumber to fix things. Plus the whole crew was super polite and friendly. I've noticed the air in my house seems to cause me less allergic reactions, right after they were done.

Seth, who did the initial inspection and completed the proposal, was professional, knowledgeable, and always available to answer any questions I had. Alexis handled all of the paperwork; she was prompt, courteous, and very attentive to my needs and concerns. Cesar, Miguel, and Luciano completed the work for us in just two days! They were so polite, professional, and very hard working! Cesar kept me informed of everything that was going on throughout the process and answered any questions I had. They completed all of the work with precision and left the area looking neat and clean. If professionalism and customer service are important to you, go with AFS! I can't recommend them enough.

Luis, Luis Jr., and David did an amazing job installing 3 helical piers for my garage. They took care of my yard while operating the excavator, and did not tear up the grass. When repairing the sidewalk and porch they did a great job with concrete. This crew worked very well together! Great team! I wish there were more stars for the review.

I know enough about foundations to be dangerous, but fortunately I called the experts! Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, and no one gave me lines! Oliver, Chris and Tim fixed the exterior of our slab home while John and Ethan worked on the inside. I had misgivings letting someone inside my home to do work on my expensive floor tile, but John assured me I would not be disappointed. Boy was he right! My wife and I can't say enough about this entire team, their workmanship and experience. Oh, the guarantee is great as well! Thank you all!

First and foremost, I have had quite a few contractors come to my house to complete various repairs for me in the last few years. I've had contractors of all sorts come here, and leave my home in all states of repair and disrepair, with varying degrees of respect and disrespect. I have to say, with the exception of my roofer from another company, the foreman and contractors Groundworks sent for were of the absolute highest caliber I have seen since becoming a homeowner. Michael, the foreman, was always clear, concise and professional, constantly giving updates, taking reasonable requests and answering all my questions with the highest level of consideration. The four men on his team, Victor, Tyrell, DT and Chris, were all extremely courteous, hard workers, and all five gentlemen handled my home repair with a level of care, cleanliness and respect I have only had the pleasure of witnessing once before. Michael, Victor, Tyrell, DT and Chris, you all did an excellent job, and we really appreciate the effort and communication put forth by your team and by Groundworks itself. Truly, thank you, for communicating about and caring for my home as if it were your own. Excellent job gentlemen, may you all receive a raise!

Daniel Cippone my service technician was at my house today doing a wonderful job on my sump pump maintenance . I needed a new battery so it was installed and now I will have 2 visits per year instead of one with a new 5 year package deal where I will save money and my sump pump will loved being cleaned. My partner and I just purchased our first home and noted some concerns in the basement. Water intrusion, and a rotted out beam. We had another company come out and give us a bid but it felt like a sales pitch the entire time and didn’t actually provide us with the insight we needed to make an informed decision about our basement and how to proceed. Groundworks was the complete opposite! Our inspector Logan J. was phenomenal – he is so knowledgeable about structural issues and pointed out major red flags that the other company completely skipped over AND our home inspector prior to our purchase didn’t find. We are so incredibly thankful he came out and provided us with the understanding of how structural systems work and very clear ways we can remedy the situation. Because of Logan J., we have a clear plan and we know our home will be in great hands! 🙌

We had a great experience with AFS. Brock Silver did a very thorough inspection and took lots of photos to help us understand the condition of our crawl space. He took his time with us and was very good at explaining all of the different options AFS could provide to help us make the right decision. Brock made us feel comfortable in our decision to hire AFS. From the beginning and throughout the whole project, Oscar, Rogelio, and Everardo were very professional and respectful of our property and our time. They kept us informed on when they would arrive, approximately when they would finish each day, and on every step of their progress. Within three days, Oscar, Rogelio, and Everardo installed a drainage system, encapsulation, two sump pumps and a dehumidifier. We are so happy with the job they did!! We feel very confident that everything they did will protect our home's foundation for a very long time. Thank you!

These men worked tirelessly all day long with incredible professionalism and dedication. They communicated clearly and effectively throughout the entire process, answered all of our questions, and made sure we understood what was being done every step of the way. I’ve always had the best experience with A1. They respond quickly and go above and beyond. I called on a Saturday because our water heater was leaking and made an appointment for Monday. They called me back a few hours later offering to come out Sunday without charging a weekend rate since they considered it more of an emergency so it could get resolved sooner. Now it’s Monday and I have a new water heater just like that! Fair pricing for great service and knowledgeable technicians.
