AI-Powered Groundworks Brings In Powerhouse Trainer To Continue Building A Culture Of Personal & Professional Development
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (March 13, 2019) – Jason Yacko will join the Groundworks University division to help lead and develop employees, as well as continue to evolve our world-class production training programs.
“Jason’s vast experience in the construction industry provides him invaluable, hands on experience that will help further the Groundworks’ mission,” stated Groundworks University President, Kim McDonald. “Jason will transition out of his current role as Director of Sales Development at Foundation Recovery Systems to focus on building the top production teams in the nation.”
Jason began working in the construction industry at the young age of 13, where he spent his summers laboring with a small concrete company. After graduation, Jason worked with one of the largest concrete companies in Iowa, making his way up to Field Foreman, becoming one of the youngest in the company to hold that position.
From there, Jason went on to lead large commercial flatwork and foundation projects throughout Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri, ultimately leading him to discover and develop a passion for the foundation services industry. Since entering into foundation services in 2013, Jason has held multiple roles from Certified Field Inspector, to Production Manager, and twice held the position of General Manager.
Jason’s success in his most recent role comes in large part from the combination of his two passions. A love and extensive knowledge of the foundation services business and his desire and ability to build and develop winning teams.
His goal in this new role is to equip every production team member with the knowledge and ability to provide our customers with superior solutions and to provide individuals with a clear and concise roadmap of how they can develop their own careers at Groundworks.
Jason and his family will be relocating to Virginia Beach, where Groundworks is headquartered, in the coming months. Jason has been married to his wife Carrie for 19 years. They have six children together and are in the process of adopting a seventh. In addition to their children, Jason and Carrie have also fostered over 20 children until they were able to find families of their own. When not at work, Jason and his family enjoy spending time outdoors, swimming and going on walks with their 130 lbs. Newfoundland, Samson.
