Groundworks Names Jeffrey Martin Regional Manager of its Western Territory
Martin’s Prior Role as General Manager of Foundation Recovery Systems, Kansas City, Provides Expertise for Groundworks’ 2020 Plans in the West
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Jan. 9, 2020) – – Groundworks®, the nation’s largest foundation services company, appoints Jeffrey Martin to Regional Manager – West, to lead the company’s westernmost brands. Through this promotion, Martin, who served most recently as the General Manager of Foundation Recovery Systems™ (FRS) Kansas City location, will have responsibility for overseeing all four FRS locations, along with Innovative Basement Authority™ (IBA) and their three locations.
Martin began his career with FRS 12 years ago. During his tenure, he has served in various roles learning the business and moving up the ranks. Martin attributes the success of FRS under his leadership to empowering his workforce with the necessary strategies, tools, and resources. Martin has implemented best practices and processes learned from across the Groundworks family of brands and consistently met and exceeded the organization’s goals for the branch.
In his new role, Martin will lead Groundworks Western territory operations to provide best-in-class service to customers in the expanded market. Martin’s territory spans the states of North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, and Arkansas.
Martin acknowledged the magnitude of this opportunity. “When I joined Groundworks, I had a 3-year plan for growth and our team was ready to execute,” said Martin. “We were prepared to win, but I did not anticipate the speed at which we would achieve and exceed our goals. Groundworks developed the Regional Manager position to further enable the company’s success over its ever-growing territory and ensure the proper leadership and infrastructure is in place to win.

Since accepting the position, Martin has already taken on the responsibility of leading the integration of IBA and its three locations, along with opening a new office for FRS to serve the greater St. Louis region.

Martin resides in Blue Springs, MO with his wife Sami and their two-year-old son, Tatum. He considers personal and professional growth to be equally important parts of his life. When not working, Martin loves spending his free time with his family and getting outdoors whenever possible to hunt, fish and generally just enjoy nature.
