Groundworks Expands Leadership Team with Two Key Hires

Lisa Adams Joins as Vice President of Inventory Management and Jody Alderman Tapped as Senior Vice President of Learning and Development

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (July 31, 2023) – Groundworks®, the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company, announced the hire of Lisa Adams as vice president of inventory management and Jody Alderman as senior vice president of learning and development. These two strategic appointments come as Groundworks continues to see strong momentum and growth, with 21 brands across 34 states. Both positions will be based out of the Groundworks Virginia Beach headquarters.

Adams brings more than 20 years of experience to this new role, where she will work with field leadership and product distribution centers to procure accurate inventory and lead demand planning for product needs. She previously served in multiple director of inventory positions at Family Dollar and Dollar Tree. Most recently, Adams built and onboarded distribution centers for over 8,000 stores as the director of health and beauty aids in merchandising at Family Dollar.

He will focus on expanding the company’s learning and organizational development programs for team members, enabling them to make personal and professional capabilities and goals more achievable. Alderman most recently served as director of leadership development at Rollins Inc., best known for Orkin Pest Control.
