Groundworks Continues Partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Feb. 22, 2024) – Groundworks®, the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company, announced its second consecutive year of partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The company’s $100,000 donation will support St. Jude’s mission to advance cures for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. 

“Our employees understand the impact of a safe and healthy living environment,” said Jackie Hoffman, director of culture and engagement at Groundworks. “By partnering with St. Jude, we can aid in funding free medical care, food, and housing for those families suffering from childhood cancer.” 

Groundworks will help raise funds by supporting St. Jude’s annual charity gala, Anchor of Hope, in Virginia Beach on March 22 and their annual golf tournament later this year. Additionally, employees will have the opportunity to participate in walks across the country to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. 

The partnership is part of the company’s ‘Goodworks’ program where employees are encouraged to give back to their local communities through non-profit partnerships and volunteerism. This past year, over 700 employees participated in the St. Jude 3,000 push-up challenge. Employees’ families also had the opportunity get involved by designing bandanas for service dogs that bring a smile to St. Jude patients every day.
