Michael Cornecelli came to Elizabeth WV, to look at our Crawlspace, he found things which we suspected were an issue and did not want to hear were true, but in reality things happen. He was thorough and detailed. I felt that his past experiences with homes and construction, helped him and us understand the real problems we were facing and have a more informed corrective action to resolve. I have peace of mind knowing that real professionals will help to keep us moving forward without more problem evolving. Air quality in our home will be better and damages will cease to persist. Thank you Michael for your help and explanations breaking it all down. We are looking forward to having our home revived.

They had to remove a lot of soil, but they were careful not to disturb other areas of the yard with the machinery. They were also meticulous in their cleanup. Thank you for a job well done!

This interaction started with a negative, but was resolved so well that anything less than a 5 star review would be a lie. I was supposed to have someone come by and inspect my foundation on 02/07/26, but no one arrived. I informed the company of this on Sunday and received a follow up email from their customer service department almost immediately asking for more details. They took full ownership of the error (even though it was a simple matter of a calendar not updating), and I received a phone call from Dakota Roden first thing Monday, who apologized for the error and rescheduled the inspection. He called roughly 40 minutes prior to the appointment and assured me that he would be there as planned. He was professional, courteous, and explained the work that needed to be done and the options to do it incredibly well, and more than made up for what ended up being a completely understandable accident. They provided a discount that they didn’t have to give, but one for which I am incredibly grateful. I believe that how a company resolves issues is a much better gauge of their integrity and professionalism than doing so when everything is going well. I cannot recommend AFS of Knoxville, and specifically Dakota, more highly.

Hunter, Joseph and Michael spent the day resurrecting and restoring our wonky, big, 23 year old backyard patio. They called me when 8 minutes out, arriving on time and going straight at it. A quick orientation and they got to it. Amazing results! I could literally watch each of the large slabs float back to level with the next ones. The heaved or sunken slabs are no more. The crew were experienced, competent, capable, extremely courteous and invited me to watch each step in the process. Yes, this is a long review and it would get 10 Stars if I could. Highly recommend Groundworks! Totally satisfied customer.

From start to finish Mount Valley Foundation did an amazing job. My husband and I just moved from WI into a 1950s home. We would set our AC to 70 and the humidity would make it 85 in the home. We got a few different quotes and made our choice. As a first time home owner it’s always scary trying to find the right pick but Shaun, Dre, and Alex were all very informative about what they were doing and was always patient about me asking questions. After a day of completion we now stay at a nice 70 degree home with low humidity.

From beginning to end everything was perfect. John Rousseau (salesman), Steven (foreman), Chris and Brandon (crew), were all well trained, very polite and courteous and seemed to be happily doing their jobs. They are the only company that did an inspection, although I had three estimates. All was explained so well that I understood exactly what to expect and the cost. They cleaned up really well and left everything in great shape. I will recommend at every opportunity.

We started having issues closing our door to the garage indicating a possible foundation issue – i called Foundation Recovery Systems and was contacted by CFI Hunter Holmes. We agreed on a time and Hunter came out and got down and dirty in the crawl space area below our house. After about 3 hours Hunter came out, took another 40 minutes or so to put together a report, and then we sat down to see what he found. What i found is that Hunter Holmes is extremely knowledgeable about what can go wrong in a crawl space under a house. We talked about the specific issues under my house – any question i had was thoroughly answered. Hunter was indefatigable in explaining what needed to be done and why. I am thankful to him for his sincere and genuine help in my understanding what is going on in my crawl space. After Hunter left he remained available to answer any follow up question i had via text or phone call. I recommend 5 stars for Hunter Holmes without any reservation whatsoever.
