I can’t say enough good things about Evan, Aldo and Jorge. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. They worked tirelessly and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and they kept the worksite clean and organized throughout the entire process. What also really stood out was their communication and willingness to listen to any concerns I had. They provided great suggestions and made sure I was happy with every step. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Thanks again to this crew!

Had a drainage system and sump pumps installed inside my basement. The results were very good and the sump pumps are doing their job well. My only remark would be that the demolition of existing walls and studs could’ve been done a little more carefully, making repair and replacement easier. I would recommend this company.

We had a great experience with AFS! After dealing with multiple opinions and estimates regarding our basement/foundation concerns, AFS came in with a practical, straightforward approach that made us feel much more comfortable moving forward. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the stabilization process without using scare tactics or trying to oversell unnecessary work. The installation crew was timely, respectful of our home, and completed the job efficiently. We especially appreciated how responsive and patient they were throughout the process, answering questions and helping us better understand the engineer’s recommendations. The finished work looks clean and gives us peace of mind moving forward. If you’re looking for a foundation company that is honest, professional, and solution-focused, we would definitely recommend AFS.

We had our large crawl space encapsulated in 2019 with AFS. They have been servicing our system since then annually. Today we had the pleasure of working with Emmett for our maintenance needs. A very respectful young man. He stayed in touch with us as to arrival time, spent the first few minutes to understand any concerns or needs we may have and then proceeded with an inspection and maintenance of our space. Afterwards he came with photos of his work and explained everything he noticed and addressed. Highly recommend having Emmett as your maintenance technician. We have been extremely pleased with AFS and feel their prices are fair and their service is top notch
Foundation Expertise in Chattanooga
Situated in southeastern Tennessee along the Tennessee River in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, it’s common for Chattanooga and nearby locations like Cleveland, Dunlap, and Soddy-Daisy to experience heavy rain and high humidity. Problems with moisture and leaking water can easily plague your basement and crawl space, which affects the rest of your home and foundation’s structural stability.
The area’s constant rain and humidity also negatively impact your home’s foundation. Chattanooga’s mostly clay soils make the problem worse, as it is infamous for poor drainage. It’s extreme expansion when wet and shrinking when dry (during hot and dry summers) can alter the stability of your foundation and result in settlement, cracks, and bowing walls. Similarly, Chattanooga’s climate and soil also wreak havoc on your concrete structures like sidewalks and driveways that are dangerous with significant cracking and sinking.
There are many reasons and causes of home damage, but it usually boils down to the soil. So, it is not uncommon for basements, crawl spaces, and home foundations to need some sort of repair eventually. That’s where the expert team at AFS can help. Our trusted foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space repair, and concrete lifting solutions can be tailored to meet your unique repair needs.
