Just had AFS's expert team encapsulate my crawlspace. Kyle Davis, Dboe, and Quinton over the course of 2 days completely sealed and protected my crawlspace from moisture and installed dehumidifiers. Kyle did an exceptional job of keeping me in the loop of what they were doing, and set proper expectations on the timeline in a clear and professional way. They texted before they came, introduced themselves and went through the process to make sure I understood the project. They completed the work quickly then gave me a tour, a recap of what was done and the continuing support that I would receive over the next 5 years to ensure satisfaction with the product and project. AFS had highly professional technicians to work on my project. They arrived early and completed an estimated three-day job in two days. John, Darien and DKota were efficient, practical and novel in their approach to working around water and gas outlets, electrical breakers and a large AC unit. The tractor they used had to carefully be moved into place between a retaining wall and the home's 60-year old awning. Lifting the 60-year old addition to a 74-year old home was no small feat, but done expertly by the AFS crew.

Charles Halmark is an exemplary example of the perfect employee. This man was on time and did every inspection by the book and then explained everything in detail. This was the best explanation of things going on under our house that I have ever heard and he made it all make sense. AFS you need to keep this guy around!!! AFS as a whole is a great company also. The barrier that they laid in our crawl space still looks new after several years. The sump pump is still working when it needs to and the dehumidifier is also still working great. Thanks AFS!

As a realtor, I hired this company to perform foundation work for a client of mine. The initial experience was positive, thanks to their sales representative, Kyle. He was exceptionally professional and conducted a much more thorough inspection of the property compared to another company I had considered, which ultimately led to hiring this team. Unfortunately, the crew that arrived to perform the work was not as professional. Since the work was done inside the home, the client was assured that their belongings would be covered and protected, but this promise was not upheld. The tenants occupying the property called me to express their frustrations. They reported that their belongings were left uncovered and were coated in dirt and dust. They had to stay in a hotel due to the disruption. To make matters worse, one of the workers was vaping inside the house, which was particularly upsetting to the tenants as they have a small child. Additionally, construction debris was left in the front yard, and no effort was made to clean it up. There were also several lapses in communication throughout the process. While this experience was extremely frustrating, I have to commend the production manager, Brett, for stepping in and saving the situation. Brett took full accountability for the issues and addressed every concern head-on. He apologized multiple times and went above and beyond to make things right. Brett covered the cost of the tenants’ hotel stay, ensured that damaged items in the house were repaired, paid for flooring replacement, and even wrote a check for over $1,600 to compensate the tenants for their damaged belongings. He also ensured the debris was removed and used the situation as a training opportunity for the company. Although this experience started poorly, Brett's integrity and willingness to take responsibility turned it around. Without Brett’s intervention, this review would have been very different. I hope the company learns from this and improves their on-site professionalism to match the excellence of their sales and management team.

I have been dealing with AFS since 2023. I dealt with issues of water building up in my basement for over 20 years and I was not sure why. One day I ran across an ad on TV that said they could put a sump pump in the ground that would draw the water out of my house. My first great service man was Matt Hall and once he left the company I was lucky enough to have Charles Hallmark come and take over services for me for maintenance needs. Charles was able to understand my concerns. Make sure my service equipment was up to date and working properly, He let me know that any service needs that I may have in the future he was available to assist me with and I did not feel rushed or pressured to purchase anything at this time. But he also made me understand the importance and urgency of me not letting any of these these items and that need to be addressed taken care of as well. I can respect that and I definitely appreciate it because everybody's not in a financial position at the same time to just fix everything. That goes a long way and keeps lifelong customers. I wish all representatives understood that. Educate your customer as much as you can and then give them the freedom of space to make decisions when their financial able to. If you're an AFS future customer or existing customer and you're looking for a gentleman who understands and will make sure the service is done right, please ask for Charles Hallmark.
