As a realtor, I hired this company to perform foundation work for a client of mine. The initial experience was positive, thanks to their sales representative, Kyle. He was exceptionally professional and conducted a much more thorough inspection of the property compared to another company I had considered, which ultimately led to hiring this team. Unfortunately, the crew that arrived to perform the work was not as professional. Since the work was done inside the home, the client was assured that their belongings would be covered and protected, but this promise was not upheld. The tenants occupying the property called me to express their frustrations. They reported that their belongings were left uncovered and were coated in dirt and dust. They had to stay in a hotel due to the disruption. To make matters worse, one of the workers was vaping inside the house, which was particularly upsetting to the tenants as they have a small child. Additionally, construction debris was left in the front yard, and no effort was made to clean it up. There were also several lapses in communication throughout the process. While this experience was extremely frustrating, I have to commend the production manager, Brett, for stepping in and saving the situation. Brett took full accountability for the issues and addressed every concern head-on. He apologized multiple times and went above and beyond to make things right. Brett covered the cost of the tenants’ hotel stay, ensured that damaged items in the house were repaired, paid for flooring replacement, and even wrote a check for over $1,600 to compensate the tenants for their damaged belongings. He also ensured the debris was removed and used the situation as a training opportunity for the company. Although this experience started poorly, Brett's integrity and willingness to take responsibility turned it around. Without Brett’s intervention, this review would have been very different. I hope the company learns from this and improves their on-site professionalism to match the excellence of their sales and management team.

Brad, the assistant sale manager wrote up me a proposal to repair my living room floor by doing it through the crawl space. The repair that Brad had purposed. Did not address my problem at all. I tried calling Brad, no answer. Tried texting him, no response. Brad even changed a line item that he had listed in the proposal to replace damaged subfloor. When I signed the contract. After I signed the contract, I asked Brad for a copy of it and to send me photos that he claimed he took. Never did see neither one. If I could have had a copy of the signed contract seeing that Brad had deleted the line item to replace 20" of damage subfloor. I WOULD HAVE CANCELED THE JOB. MY THINKING IS IF BRAD DID THIS TO ME. HE PROBABLY DID IT TO OTHERS. Quinton, Victor and Kenny did the best job to get the repair to a satisfactory repair. To all that's wants to get work done by AFS. PLEASE DONT TRUST BRAD PREFONTAINE. I couldn't be more pleased with the work completed by AFS. This was not an easy project; the foundation footing was much thicker than expected, which created additional challenges and extended the job by a few days. Despite those obstacles, the crew remained professional, respectful, hardworking, and committed to doing the job right. A special thanks to Tim, D-Kota, Hunter, and Zach. Their communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. They kept me informed every step of the way, explained what was happening, answered every question thoroughly, and always responded in a timely manner. Shepard and Cage came out from AFS to lift some sagging concrete around our pool. They texted before they came, introduced themselves and went through the process to make sure I understood the project. They completed the work quickly then gave me a tour, a recap of what was done and the continuing support that I would receive over the next 5 years to ensure satisfaction with the product and project. I scheduled my repairs today with Tim and Cole. What was something causing a great deal of fear and anxiety, they calmed. They broke every part of the foundation need down into a way I could understand. They took their time explaining and happily answered even my most ridiculous question. They spent nearly 3hrs just ensuring I knew step by step what to expect. This level of service and trust is unheard of. I'm confident and comfortable moving forward with my home repairs.
