When he finished, he sat with me and explained the results, even going so far as to compare them to last year’s results and the results from 2018. Thank you to Aaron Kanter, Groundworks Service Technician for recently doing the annual inspection of the foundational work and crawl space liner encapsulation that was previously done at my home. I am incredibly pleased with the level of support Aaron provided to me during the service. Aaron took baseline readings of my home's main floor that will be used in future annual inspections to more precisely measure whether any shifting or movement occurs. Aaron was thorough in his overall evaluation, answered my questions, and provided suggestions as to how Groundworks may be able to help remediate other problems that I described to him. Manny Bello & Atiim Smith were our installation crew from Groundworks. They arrived on time and were professional throughout. Before starting work they reviewed the plan and provided an estimate of the time required. Our garage slab had settled significantly in areas preventing water from draining out and in some locations, the soil had settled under the concrete 8 inches below the visible concrete settlement of four inches. Within a couple of hours Manny and Atiim had lifted all the slabs to provide excellent drainage. Additionally, simultaneously they worked on our front entry to stabilize that concrete from cracking and settling. The two of them then caulked of the seams. The garage turned out to have a better drainage slope than when it was originally poured and we couldn't be more delighted. Thank you Groundworks and thank you Manny and Atiim.
