Chris was very professional and did a thorough job of explaining everything they needed to complete to make the crawl space up to standards. Jalen communicated when he was on the way and when he arrived. Explained everything, cleaned up afterwards, and provided me with pictures of the work that was done. I need an additional outlet for the condensation pump and once installed, he even offered to come back to complete that installation. He explained that how he set it up, the condensation run to the sub pump. I was impressed with the entire staff and their professionalism.

Structural Repair Specialists in Sumter
Commonly known as the ‘Gamecock City,’ Sumter is situated near the geographical center of the state. As the 8th most populated city in South Carolina, homeowners enjoy their homes. However, the hot, humid summers and relatively low precipitation levels can cause problems for foundations throughout Sumter, and the surrounding areas of Wedgefield, Mayesville, Alcolu, and Dalzell.
So, if you notice your homes sinking or settling, or smell a musty odor coming from the crawl space, act quickly. Moisture and water vapor in a crawl space leads to mold growth, noticeable by the pungent smell upstairs. Though mold can be more than annoying. Mold can weaken the support posts and put your home at risk.
Uneven and cracked concrete slabs are another common problem for homeowners. The Sumpter area has soil that is well-drained, that means it shrinks during dry conditions, leading to unsupported concrete driveway or sidewalk slabs that crack and sink.
The weather and the soil surrounding your foundation cannot be changed; however, there is a solution. Mount Valley Foundation Services understand your areas unique qualities because we live and work in your community. We offer the best foundation, basement, crawl space, and concrete solutions.
