We are very thankful that we selected Mount Valley to raise and align the concrete slabs in our garage and sidewalk. Dustin came in july and gave us a very careful estimate and was extremely polite and helpful. Yiannis and Bernard arrived and instantly made me feel at home with this repair. Due to curiosity, I watched their entire repair and was amazed. Both Yiannis and Bernard were great with explaining the project with each step. I couldn’t possibly be more pleased. My Valley is blessed to have these two on the team.

We had an excellent experience with Mount Valley Foundation. Will was informative and supportive from the first evaluation to the project’s conclusion, going above and beyond to alleviate concerns. Ron (the foreman), Jacob and Von were professional, respectful, and very patient throughout the entire project to encapsulate the foundation and address some issues. Ron took the time to explain each step and made sure all of our questions were answered. The worksite was kept clean and organized, and we received regular updates along the way. The quality of work and communication from the entire team really stood out. We would absolutely recommend this company to others.

Structural Repair Specialists in Sumter
Commonly known as the ‘Gamecock City,’ Sumter is situated near the geographical center of the state. As the 8th most populated city in South Carolina, homeowners enjoy their homes. However, the hot, humid summers and relatively low precipitation levels can cause problems for foundations throughout Sumter, and the surrounding areas of Wedgefield, Mayesville, Alcolu, and Dalzell.
So, if you notice your homes sinking or settling, or smell a musty odor coming from the crawl space, act quickly. Moisture and water vapor in a crawl space leads to mold growth, noticeable by the pungent smell upstairs. Though mold can be more than annoying. Mold can weaken the support posts and put your home at risk.
Uneven and cracked concrete slabs are another common problem for homeowners. The Sumpter area has soil that is well-drained, that means it shrinks during dry conditions, leading to unsupported concrete driveway or sidewalk slabs that crack and sink.
The weather and the soil surrounding your foundation cannot be changed; however, there is a solution. Mount Valley Foundation Services understand your areas unique qualities because we live and work in your community. We offer the best foundation, basement, crawl space, and concrete solutions.
