Bay Area Underpinning Partners with Habitat for Humanity

This year, the team at Bay Area Underpinning (BAU) partnered with Habitat for Humanity. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, employees assisted in home builds for members of the local communities.

BAU’s parent company, Groundworks, donated $100,000 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. Part of the Goodworks by Groundworks program, this partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year.

BAU employees in Fairfield volunteered their time on May 18 with the Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity. BAU team members spent the day installing floorboards and baseboards throughout the home. Their efforts were highlighted on KGO-TV (ABC) San Francisco.
