Event Details

On May 8, 2025, Groundworks proudly participated in Special Olympics Northern California’s Bocce Bash held in San Jose, CA. The event invited six dedicated team members from our San Jose branch to engage in friendly games of bocce, indulge in delicious local cuisine, and unite for an evening of giving back.

This year’s Bocce Bash helped bring tangible improvements to local communities by supporting inclusive year-round athletic programming and leadership development for individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout Northern California. Participants mingled with local sports stars, distinguished guests, and our incredible Special Olympics NorCal athletes, in a celebration of unity in our community.

What We Achieved Together

From health screenings to unified sports in schools, Special Olympics NorCal extends meaningful opportunities to thousands of athletes annually—none of it possible without community support like this. Events like the Bocce Bash continues to generate regional impact by fueling inclusive programming across Northern California.
