Groundworks Joins the University of the Pacific Athletics for a Meaningful Partnership

Event Recap: A Day of Golf and Giving

On Feb. 7, 2025, Groundworks played a key role in the University of the Pacific Golf Tournament at the Reserve at Spanos Park. Team members Kevin Gaeden (Superintendent), Shanon Thompson (Operations Manager), Chance Danner (Assistant Sales Manager), and John Mahoney (Production Manager) actively participated in the event as a dedicated golf team, helping raise funds for the school.

Beyond the tournament, the team engaged with attendees at a booth, handing out water to golfers and sharing insights into Groundworks’ mission. The event concluded with a banquet, fostering valuable conversations and community connections.

“The turnout was fantastic, and it was great to support a worthy cause while connecting with so many people,” the Groundworks team said.

What We Achieved Together

With an impressive turnout of 145 participants, the tournament successfully contributed to the university’s fundraising efforts. This local initiative strengthened Groundworks’ commitment to community support, reinforcing our shared goal of fostering education and opportunity.
