Groundworks Hits the Ground Running as Elevate Kids Fun Run Supporters and Participants

Event Recap: Running for a Good Cause

On April 6, 2025, Groundworks joined Elevate Kids in Grand Junction, CO, for the annual Elevate Kids Fun Run—an uplifting community event supporting children, education, and local wellness initiatives. Ten enthusiastic Groundworks team members, alongside several of their family members, participated in the run at various distances, proudly representing our brand.

Beyond the race, Groundworks made a strong visible impact by setting up an interactive booth and distributing fun promotional swag to families and children who attended. Our presence was met with heartfelt gratitude, and we were recognized multiple times throughout the day as the main event sponsor.

“It was incredibly rewarding to see our team rally together for a cause that directly supports the foundations of our community. We’re not just building homes—we’re helping build futures,” said Groundworks Grand Junction Office Manager Kylee Marshall.

Through our collective efforts, over 12 Groundworks employees and family members came together locally to support this vital cause. Our regional collaboration not only strengthened our community presence in Grand Junction but also spotlighted our continued commitment to giving back.

The Elevate Kids Fun Run supports the D51 Foundation (D51F), a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing educational success by funding professional development, student wellness, and innovation in Mesa County schools. Groundworks is proud to champion this mission as part of our broader initiative to promote safe housing and stable, thriving communities.
