Event Recap: Summer Kickoff Festival

Groundworks sponsored the 16th Street Summer Kickoff, a free two-day celebration organized by the Downtown Denver Partnership. The event, held on May 31, 2025, stretched a full mile along 16th Street and featured the IFSC Speed Climbing World Cup, live music, local vendors, sidewalk sales, a beer garden, and family-friendly activities.

Groundworks Tribe members Leah King and Mauryna May represented Groundworks at our booth, where we partnered with Mile High United Way to assemble resource kits for unhoused individuals.

What We Achieved Together

Through this sponsorship, Groundworks, alongside attendees, helped assemble more than 450 basic necessity kits. These kits were designed for eventgoers to keep in their vehicles and distribute directly to individuals in need. This hands-on approach provided immediate support and encouraged continued community engagement long after the event ended.
