Groundworks Sponsors Special Olympics Colorado State Fall Classic

Groundworks proudly sponsored the Special Olympics Colorado State Fall Classic on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Denver. This inspiring event celebrated athletes of all abilities, showcasing the power of inclusion and community.

Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO) empowers over 23,000 athletes statewide through year-round sports training and competition. In 2024, SOCO hosted 425 events across 23 sports, created 119 new teams, and introduced 347 young athletes to the movement. Additionally, SOCO’s 725 Unified Champion Schools fostered inclusion, impacting over 500,000 students.

At the event, Groundworks team members were thrilled to participate in several ways. We hosted a booth at the Volleyball State Classic, connecting with attendees and cheering on the competitors. Additionally, our team volunteered at the bowling event, engaging directly with the athletes and supporting their incredible achievements.

Being part of this event was an honor and a privilege for our Groundworks family. We are inspired by the resilience, determination, and joy these athletes bring to their sports and their communities.
