Groundworks Partners with Habitat for Humanity in Wichita

This September, the team at Groundworks partnered with Wichita Habitat for Humanity. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, volunteers were cutting and installing framing for a future Habitat for Humanity homeowner.

The home will later be dedicated to community member Nicole and her three children. After losing their previous residence due to unforeseen circumstances, Nicole and her kids have been navigating multiple obstacles of finding suitable housing. Through her partnership with Wichita Habitat, Nicole is putting forth sweat equity hours, working towards owning a home that will provide a safe and nurturing environment for her and her children.

Groundworks donated $100,000 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. Part of the Goodworks by Groundworks program, this partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year.
