On May 2, 2026, the vibrant atmosphere at the Detroit Zoo was perfect for the 28th Annual Walk For Wishes. Groundworks was thrilled to actively participate as a Strength Sponsor of this amazing event. Our team from Rochester Hills set up a lively booth and joined a dedicated group of walkers, bringing along family and friends to celebrate the day.

A special highlight was the revelation that Wish Kid Matthew’s dream of becoming a Detroit Tigers player was granted by pitcher Tarik Skubal. The event successfully raised over $350,000 to support Make-A-Wish Michigan, making it a memorable and impactful day for everyone involved.
