Groundworks – Minneapolis Partners with Habitat for Humanity
This year, the team at Groundworks – Minneapolis (formerly Innovative Basement Authority) partnered with Habitat for Humanity. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, employees assisted in home builds for members of the local communities.
IBA’s parent company, Groundworks, donated $100,000 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. Part of the Goodworks by Groundworks program, this partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year.
On May 10, IBA volunteers in Minneapolis teamed up with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to help put finishing touches on a home in Paul Park. Nine employees helped with painting and installing screen doors at a home that will be dedicated to a deserving community member later this year.
