Groundworks Partners with NJSIAA for the 2025 Individual Wrestling State Championships

Championship Recap

The highly anticipated New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) Individual Wrestling State Championships (Boys & Girls) took place at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City from March 6-8, 2025. With 640 elite wrestlers competing and attendance exceeding 25,000, the event was a celebration of dedication, athleticism, and community spirit.

As a proud sponsor, Groundworks was featured through key branding opportunities, including signage, announcements, an on-site table display, and a full-page ad in the digital program.

This partnership made a powerful impact, as evidenced by a viral TikTok moment featuring a four-time state champion walking to his final match with Groundworks’ banner prominently displayed in the background.

A Win-Win Partnership

Through this sponsorship, Groundworks and NJSIAA engaged a large and passionate audience, fostering a greater sense of community.

We were blown away by the attendance and enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people. “Massive event!” said Groundworks New Jersey General Manager Tommy Chechel.

This event resonated at a regional level, cultivating enthusiasm for wrestling while showcasing the power of corporate partnerships in uplifting local communities. It also reinforced the importance of supporting young athletes and investing in their future.
