Event Recap: An Island Afternoon

On June 24, 2025, Groundworks – Fargo (formerly Innovative Basement Authority) proudly joined the Fargo, ND, community to sponsor the 14th Annual Go Hawaiian for Hospice Luau Lunch, a beloved yearly fundraiser for local hospice care.

The event featured live island-themed music, flavorful lunch offerings, and a vibrant atmosphere that brought the community together to honor and support compassionate end-of-life care services.

How to Make an Impact

Since its inception in 2012 by Choice Bank in partnership with HIA Hospice, the Go Hawaiian for Hospice events have raised over $1.3 million in support of hospice care. Now expanded to Bismarck, Dickinson, and Grand Forks, this initiative continues to strengthen compassionate care systems throughout the region.

As one of the most anticipated seasonal fundraisers, the Luau has not only elevated public awareness but also built lasting ties between local businesses and care providers.
