Event Recap: Supporting Awareness

Groundworks made an impact at the Special Olympics Oklahoma Summer Games held at Oklahoma State University on May 14, 2026. As a sponsor, the Groundworks team connected with attendees from their on-site booth, spreading awareness and contributing to a successful experience for all involved.

More than 5,300 athletes, coaches, and volunteers participated in events including Athletics, Bocce, and Powerlifting. The Summer Games, the largest Special Olympics event in North America, also featured the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Celebration Night.

Special Olympics Oklahoma continues to support more than 12,700 participants through volunteer coaches, sponsors, and donors who help facilitate over 175 annual sports competitions and training events.
