Groundworks Sponsors The Urban Mission’s Back-to-School Bash

Groundworks supported The Urban Mission’s Back-to-School Program event on August 2, 2024. This Oklahoma City event benefits underprivileged students from Pre-K through college by providing supplies and other back-to-school essentials. Groundworks crews volunteered on event day, handing out school supplies and funding the cost of backpacks.

The Urban Mission, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1972, serves families in the Oklahoma City metro area. The outreach center relies on private donations and volunteer support to provide food assistance, after-school care, summer programs, and an annual holiday Santa Store for those in need.
