Groundworks Sponsors 50 Nifty Kids Picnic, Spotlighting Local Children

Event Recap: A Day Out At The Park

On July 24, 2024, our team at Groundworks’ Central Pennsylvania branch, formerly Baker’s Waterproofing, was excited to be a sponsor for the 50 Nifty Kids picnic. Held at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, the event was part of the local Celebrate Kids Month initiative.

Presented by SBC Media Partners and 94KX, the program acknowledges young community heroes, encouraging children to engage in positive community outreach while providing a fun-filled day of celebration at the amusement park. Children can participate by calling in to register and submitting a list of good deeds they’ve performed, with the first 50 eligible entries selected to take part.

Chosen children and their families are then invited to SBC Media Partners’ annual Nifty 50-Celebrate Kids Day at Knoebels Amusement Resort. This special event features exciting games and activities, custom gift bags for each child, and refreshments, including donuts, pizza, and ice cream. Larger prizes donated by community sponsors are also part of the celebration.

Join Us In Supporting Local Youth

Groundworks firmly believes in giving back to the community and supporting local youth, and our team was proud to share our commitment to fostering community spirit.

We also staffed a booth on-site during the event, and it was an honor to celebrate so many extraordinary children. We hope you join us in encouraging young people to make a positive difference in our community.
