Groundworks Proud to Sponsor the Saint Joseph’s University Annual Kinney Walk/Run for Autism

At Groundworks, we are deeply committed to giving back to the communities we serve, and we were thrilled to sponsor the 2024 Saint Joseph’s University Annual Kinney Walk/Run for Autism. The event took place on the university’s beautiful campus and brought together individuals, families, and supporters for a 3-mile run or 1-mile walk to raise awareness and funds for the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support.

In addition to being a proud sponsor, Groundworks set up a booth at the event, giving us a fantastic opportunity to chat with the runners, walkers, and their families. It was inspiring to hear from participants about their personal stories and connection to the cause, and we were honored to play a part in supporting such a meaningful event.

About the Kinney Center for Autism Education & Support

The Kinney Center, based at Saint Joseph’s University, provides crucial support to individuals with autism and their families while offering education to students entering the field of autism support. Rooted in the Jesuit mission of cura personalis — care for the whole person — the Kinney Center has a forward-thinking approach that strives to serve individuals with autism across their entire lifespan. Their efforts to educate future professionals in the field are helping to shape the future of autism care.

By participating in this annual walk/run, individuals are contributing to the Kinney Center’s mission of providing essential resources, education, and support for the autism community, both locally and beyond.
